Race 1   THE WORKERS OF THE WORKOUT COMMITTEE HANDICAP TROT
BUYNOWPAYLATER - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
VALENTINA SHEVCHENKO - Driver J Abernethy reported the removable deafeners failed to activate due to the cord becoming entangled.
NEYMAR - pre-race warmed. Broke at the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. Broke again near the 500m when trailing the field. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the request of Trainer B Wilkins.
JOE KENNEDY - shifted out approaching the crossing before improving forward to lead. Broke near the 400m and failed to settle. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
TIKI - switched to a pace shortly after the start and trailed the field throughout.
SKEE PRINCESS - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Weakened in the run home.

RASMUSSIN EFFECT - lay in at various stages throughout.
FREDDY'S BOY - weakened leaving the final turn.
VISCOUNT BANNER - Driver N Delany was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
BET ON POLLY - paced roughly approaching the 50m.
TUAREG - paced roughly late in the score up. Raced wide early.

PASS CODE - over-raced through the middle stages.
CAPTAIN ZENZI - raced wide early.

Race 4   GREAVES BROTHERS & PETER McCALLUM MEMORIALS TROT
NAZARETH - Driver A Poutama reported he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
SCOOTS - began awkwardly losing ground. Hampered briefly near the 1400m.
AND REMEMBER ME - checked near the 1400m. Over-raced through the middle stages. Broke near the 450m losing all chance.
KENNY HILL - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
HIGHVIEW ROCKN ROLL - broke shortly after the start then settled in a pace losing all chance.
EAGLE HANOVER - broke near the 1400m when there was an easing of the pace, checking a trailing runner losing ground. Trotted roughly approaching the 100m and shifted out.
CONRAD H - slow early losing considerable ground. Lay in approaching the 700m contacting track markers. Driver B Wilkins was warned to ensure she starts wider on the track when drawn Unruly in future.
CRAZY - pre-race warmed. Broke at the start then settled in a pace losing all chance.
PARADISE ALI - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
Race 5   REVELL DOUGLAS MEMORIAL JUNIOR DRIVERS HEAT 2 MOB PACE
EDDIE OSEI - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Weakened in the run home.
ESTER LUCY - broke near the 1550m losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners. Weakened in the run home.
BECKER - underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination due to not having raced for a considerable period of time and was cleared to start. Checked shortly after the start with driver H Moralde Sands being dislodged from the sulky. Miss Moralde Sands was examined by the oncourse St John Ambulance personnel and cleared of any injury. This runner continued on driverless hampering several runners before falling to the track after jumping track markers near the 900m. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
IM ALL IN - broke shortly after the start and shifted in checking BECKER before losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed IM ALL IN to have a small laceration to the near hock which was treated.
TWO JULES - hampered over the early stages by the driverless BECKER, however notwithstanding this driver J Dunn was shown the replays and spoken to advisedly in relation to his obligations given similar circumstances in the future. Raced wide down the back straight when providing inside runners with sufficient room to take evasive action if required.
Race 6   THE ACCOUNTING ROOM/SILK AUDIT MOBILE PACE
WHITEBAIT BOY - raced wide without cover from the 1000m. Lay in having to be corrected by Driver P Ferguson near the 900m.
RUTHERFORD - raced wide early. Lay out rounding the final bend.
GENUINE IMITATION - raced wide early.
Race 7   NAG 'N' NOGGIN NEW OWNERS COMING MARCH MOB PACE
RUN MASON RUN - obtained an inside run near the 400m.
SWEET VINTAGE - paced roughly shortly after the start. Paced roughly again near the 500m. The overcheck became detached during the running.
CALL SECURITY - over-raced through the middle stages.
BIG GEE - paced roughly late in the score up. Lay out near the 400m and shifted wider on the track presenting an inside run to a trailing runner. Continued to lay out throughout the run home.
SHEZABETTORGIRL - paced roughly late in the score up and was back from position at dispatch. Broke briefly on two occasions over the early stages . A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
RAGNAR LOTHBROK - held up final turn and throughout the home straight when unable to obtain clear running.
Race 8   ALLAN McCULLOUGH PAINTERS STRATFORD TROTTERS CUP HCP TROT
HIGHER POWER - broke passing the 150m when clear in the lead losing its chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
TRIPPY TYRON - lay out racing down the back. Weakened rounding the final turn.
SON OF PATRICK - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a standing start prior to resuming.
FORGIVENESS - hampered by a breaking runner near the 700m and broke in consequence losing all chance.
PREMIUM PLAYER - broke near the 700m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed symptoms of respiratory distress however the gelding had recovered well.
JOHNNY WHO - hampered by breaking runners near the 700m having to take evasive action losing ground.
Following this race the track conditions were downgraded to Dead.
Race 9   TARANAKI STEELFORMERS STRATFORD CUP HANDICAP PACE
MIDFREW LUCRE - broke at the start losing ground.
BETA PREPARE - broke at the start losing ground. Broke again briefly near the 1550m and shifted out before being corrected by Driver S Abernethy. Paced roughly passing the 150m.
DOUBLE TIME - held up rounding the final turn.
ROUGH AND READY - shifted out near the 350m before being corrected by Driver K Coppins.
Race 10   BRENDAN CROWLEY FIRST NATIONAL JUNIOR DRIVERS MOB PACE
MILLION DOLLAR CHIC - held up rounding the final turn.
GOORAMBAT ART - weakened in the run home.
BAILEYS PITCH - weakened in the run home.
CAULFIELD - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained to take cover.
SOCIAL DISTANCING - broke early in the score up however was in position at the candy pole. Paced roughly rounding the final turn.
THE NIGHT AGENT - paced roughly shortly after the start. Driver H Orange reported he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
