Race 1   WINEWORKS MARLBOROUGH MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared when SWEET GLORY broke in the score up hampering a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver A Lethaby elected to remain in her allocated barrier position for the restart.
SWEET GLORY - shifted outwards near the 250m placing an outside runner in restricted room. Driver A Lethaby was issued a warning.
BREENY'S CONQUEROR - placed in restricted room near the 250m when weakening in the run home.
RAKERO LIGHTNING - held up early in the run home.
LONGVIEW TUI - raced wide from the 850m.
Race 2   GROVE TAVERN HANDICAP TROT
WHICH WAY - trotted roughly in the early stages and broke racing into the first bend losing all chance and was retired from the race.
B K MUMMA JAMIE - broke at the start and shifted outwards hampering an outside runner losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
REPENDANT - pre-raced warmed. Hampered by a breaking runner at the start.

VESTA - driver T Williams reported the mare failed to handle the track conditions today.
WILLY AWAY - broke briefly at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
ULTIMATUM - over-raced early and middle stages. Held up final bend.
HONOUR BRIGHT NOTE - broke early in the score up and was back from the unruly position at the start.
Following this race the track was downgraded to Slow.

JUDGEMENT BAY - weakened in the run home.
JUDINE - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised the mare had raced lethargically and failed to handle the track conditions today. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
CARRERA KAHU - late scratching at 11.05am on Veterinary advice.
MELTON MAGNATE - raced wide early.
EZRA THE SCRIBE - late scratching at 8.35am on Veterinary advice.

SIGNAL HILL - held up middle stages of the run home.
MANAKAU BLAZE - broke after 100m hampering trailing runners losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Weakened final bend.
DIEDRE FRANCO - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
JUST EASY - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend and broke losing ground. Weakened in the run home.
