AMALFI - hampered by a weakening runner near the 600m. Weakened leaving the final bend.
BUDDY REIGN - weakened leaving the final bend.
STUBING - weakened final bend.
TRENDY VAN GOGH - weakened from the 600m hampering a trailing runner.
ONE EYE BANDIT - when questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver B Butt advised the gelding had received every opportunity and had proved disappointing over the concluding stages.
Race 2   TOWN & COUNTRY VETS HANDICAP TROT
LUCA - trotted roughly in the run home and was unable to be driven out by driver B Hope.
BIZZA TO'O - the near hind bandage came adrift in the run home. This gear was inspected with trainer S O'Reilly deemed not to be at fault.
NATIVES BLAZIN SON - broke at the start and continued on in a break losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.

MAJOR LI - checked by a breaking runner near the 1500m. Again checked by a breaking runner near the 1100m. Held up leaving the final bend.
HAWK TOUIE LOUIE - broke when leading near the 1500m checking trailing runners losing ground. Broke again passing the 1100m when leading checking trailing runners losing considerable ground. Broke again leaving the final bend losing all chance with a side carrier strap coming adrift. Driver B Butt reported the gelding had cast a shoe near the 1500m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
BELLA CIAO - checked by a breaking runner near the 1500m.
ROCKABILLY REIGN - checked by a breaking runner near the 1500m. Again checked by a breaking runner near the 1100m. Held up leaving the final bend.

CROWN THE MOMENT - driver B Hope advised he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
LOVEYOU TO DA SKYE - trainer/driver G Smith reported the gelding had trotted roughly and lost ground rounding the final bend.
Race 5   TURF HOTEL MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared when SHARDS LYRIC broke in the score up checking trailing runners. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver S O'Reilly elected to remain in her allocated barrier position for the restart.
BUSTERS BABE - weakened from the 1100m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the filly.
AMERICAN TOS - held up early in the run home.
SHANKY'S SHOT - held up early in the run home. Lay inwards in the run home and struck a track marker. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Butt advised the colt had travelled well however failed to respond when placed under pressure and he was disappointed with the effort.
THE GANGSTER - raced wide early.
AMICI - weakened leaving the final bend.
STUMPY BLACKLER - raced wide early.
RAKERO JOHN - held up by a weakening runner final bend.
SHEWONMEOVER - paced roughly early stages. Weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
KILLYBEGS - weakened from the 1100m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the mare.
IFYOUCOULDCWHATIC - paced roughly in the early stages. Broke after 200m losing considerable ground. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Weakened from the 1000m.
Race 6   STEPH MONOPOLI SUMMIT MOBILE PACE
OKIWI BAY - compounded from the 1500m and was retired from the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare had suffered an atrial fibrillation. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance including the results of an ECG prior to completing two satisfactory trials before resuming.
SARGENT HENRY - weakened final bend.
JUDGEMENT BAY - weakened final bend.
CAPTAIN TYRON - raced greenly passing the 1700m when leading.
RAKERO MAXIMUS - raced wide early. Paced roughly and broke near the 1900m losing all chance. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Driver S Ottley reported the gelding had been hanging during the running and she would be recommending gear changes.
BEAUDIENE ALWAYS B - raced wide early.

HE'S A BAY - weakened leaving the final bend.
COUNTRY GOLD - junior driver J Dunn was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to activate the hopple shorteners.
LOGAN ROCK - broke at the start losing ground. Weakened final bend. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer A Stuart.
STYLISH LUSTRE - fractious prior to the start.
CARLIN - over-raced when wide on the track in the early stages.
Race 8   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS HANDICAP TROT
LOVE WALKED IN - broke at the start losing all chance.
KNOWING ME - over-raced and broke after a slight easing of the pace near the 1600m before switching to a pace losing ground. Again broke near the 1400m losing further ground. Weakened final bend.
MAVIS JONES - began awkwardly.
ROYDON MUSCLE - raced wide early.
NELLIE DOYLE - raced wide early.

MIKI'S COURAGE - when questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
DON'T TELL JENNY - trainer R Houghton advised the mare would be racing without front shoes.
DESTINY DANCE - when questioned regarding the improved performance connections advised the gelding failed to handle the wet track conditions at its previous start at Westport. Driver J Morrison was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
CANDY CANE - driver R Harrison advised she did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
