| Driver T Chmiel (ART JORDAN) admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Chmiel's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 13 January up to and including 18 January 2026 (2 days). |

Stewards questioned Miss O'Reilly regarding her decision in the latter stages not to shift wider on the track. Miss O'Reilly explained that with several runners in close proximity to her outside, she was uncertain whether she had sufficient advantage over those runners to safely improve wider. After considering her explanation, Stewards were satisfied her decision was not unreasonable in the circumstances and took the matter no further. | |

The saddle slipped on the gelding after the race due to a clip on the breastplate breaking resulting in the gelding bucking on several occasions and falling to the track. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Driver C DeFilippi was uninjured in this incident. The breastplate was inspected and found to be in previously good condition. | |
