SHOWCASE - paced roughly near the 50m.
Race 2   WELSHY CONTRACTORS LTD MOBILE TROT
MAROUBRA - locked wheels with an outside runner which lay inwards near the 1000m losing ground. Weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
MORRIE AFTON - lay inwards and locked wheels with MAROUBRA near the 1000m with both runners losing ground. Broke near the 800m losing considerable ground.
MAJESTIC MONKEY - broke in the early stages losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
WATERLOO STATION - hampered by an inside runner which shifted outwards in the run home.
MAJOR DOOSIE - over-raced early stages.
TARRAGINDI - raced wide early. Lay outwards throughout the run home dictating WATERLOO STATION wider on the track despite the efforts of driver M Williamson. Authorisation of 1st placing was withheld until driver B Butt (WATERLOO STATION) placed 2nd, confirmed his chances of finishing ahead of TARRAGINDI had not been affected and he did not wish to proceed with a protest.

BUFFY NORTHSTAINS - pre-race warmed. Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Raced wide early.
JORDAN ANNE - broke at the start hampering a trailing runner losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Authorisation of 5th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
PRACTICAL MAGIC - broke near the 900m losing ground.
I DREAM OF JEANNIE - raced wide from the 1100m. Driver J Dunn advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
HIDDEN TALENT - had to be steadied near the 1150m when awkwardly placed close to the sulky of I DREAM OF JEANNIE. Raced wide with cover from the 1100m.
MAJESDIX - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.

ROYAL BELLE - held up final bend.
TUPPENCE - lay outwards over the concluding stages.
HI LIFE - lay inwards and was awkwardly placed close to the sulky of TUPPENCE and broke racing into the first bend when racing wide on the track hampering trailing runners losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
TRENDY VAN GOGH - hampered when racing wide into the first bend.
LILY'S A STAR - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.

Race 8   MAINLAND REPAIRS MOBILE TROT
ZHUTEE - checked near the 700m with driver S Tomlinson being dislodged from the sulky with ZHUTEE escaping driverless. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be uninjured in this incident. Miss Tomlinson was examined by St John personnel and cleared of injury to fulfill her remaining driving engagements.
SENIOR CONSTABLE LIZ - checked and broke near the 700m losing all chance.
GEORGIA TROUBLE - checked and fell near the 700m dislodging driver G O'Reilly with GEORGIA TROUBLE escaping driverless. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration on the right front cannon bone and superficial abrasions on the right shoulder and muzzle with the filly being treated by the on course Veterinarian. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming. Mr O'Reilly was examined by St John personnel and cleared of injury.
KOWHAI SUNBURST - checked and broke near the 700m losing all chance. A post-race veterinary examination cleared the filly of any injury.
THE WILL - pre-race warmed. Broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
SNOOOWGOOD - broke near the 700m and eased despite the efforts of driver S O'Reilly resulting in severe checks to KOWHAI SUNBURST, ZHUTEE, GEORGIA TROUBLE and SENIOR CONSTABLE LIZ with Miss O'Reilly then being dislodged shortly after when hampered by the driverless ZHUTEE. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be uninjured in this incident. SNOOOWGOOD was stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming. Miss O'Reilly was examined by St John personnel and cleared of injury to fulfill her remaining driving engagements.
MISS MELANIE - raced wide early.
PENELOPE LANE - raced wide early. Hung outwards rounding the final bend. Marginally hampered late in the run home.
HAVE A LITTLE FAITH - broke rounding the final bend losing ground. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the filly had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
MOR MOONLIGHT - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 700m. Lay inwards and attempted to ease having to be straightened by driver K Green near the 50m marginally hampering a trailing runner late in the run home.
Race 9   DAIRY BUSINESS CENTRE MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared when SUPERFAST paced roughly in the score up hampering a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver M Hurrell elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart.
SUPERFAST - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
HALEY ROBYN - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
TASHS BAD GIRL - held up early in the run home.
