Race 1   WASH RITE SOUTHLAND MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared at the first attempt when BAUTISTA broke in the score up checking second line runners. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver B Williamson elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart.
BAUTISTA - held up leaving the final bend and early to middle stages of the run home only obtaining clear racing room over the concluding stages.
HAROLD HANOVER - broke in the score up of the first attempt. Raced wide in the early stages.
ARTMORE - held up through the middle stages of the run home. Driver M Williamson reported he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
BOMBAY GLACIER - raced three wide from the 900m.
Race 2   MARY WITSEY STYLIST & COLOUR CONSULTANT MOBILE PACE
MOON LIGHT TERROR - weakened in the run home.
WILD EAST - paced roughly in the run home. Driver M Williamson reported he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
KING HIT - lay out in the run home having to be corrected by driver B Barclay.
BROTHER ROB - over-raced through the middle stages. Weakened leaving the final bend. The off-side rear hopple carrier strap broke in the run home. The gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition.
Race 3   NEXT WINTON HARNESS RACING CLUB MEETING 26TH FEBRUARY TROT
SONNY JIM - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.
GARONNE - trotted roughly at stages throughout.
GLENDHU MISCHIEF - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend and broke losing all chance.
DIDN'T DI - broke rounding the final bend hampering trailing runners losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
TICKTOCK MCGLAUGHLIN - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
FIERY ADI - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.

HENNESSY - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
PONTIFF - broke rounding the first bend hampering trailing runners losing all chance.

THE GREEK FREAK - hampered over the concluding stages.

TILLY DUNNAGE - held up by a weakening runner rounding the final bend.
TRANSONIC - driver T Williams reported he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
PACIFIC ARC - over-raced through the early and middle stages. Weakened final bend.
DURRANT - raced wide early until receiving cover near the 1550m.
BLAZE LIGHTENING - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1000m.
HAZER - raced wide early. Held up briefly rounding the final bend.
MAGNETIC JIM D - over-raced middle stages.
AIRWAVES - driver B Williamson reported that the gelding had felt indifferent in its action when returning to the birdcage post-race. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
ROBYNS HUSTLER - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
VINCHETTO - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver A Armour. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
Race 7   TREVOR PROCTOR & DIANE DYNES MOBILE PACE
CAPTAIN CHRISTINA - lay inwards and broke leaving the final bend hampering outside runners losing its chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
EBONEZY - raced wide early.
LOUIES ME DAD - hampered by a breaking runner early in the run home and broke briefly in consequence.
OFF THE CANVAS - hampered by a breaking runner early in the run home.
CHEEKY JOE - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver H Douglas. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the colt.
STUMPY BLACKLER - paced roughly leaving the final bend.
Race 8   SBSR DIAMOND CREEK SIRES STAKES SOUTHERN SOLSTICE (MOB PACE)
PARTY UP DENARIO - held up middle stages of the run home.
RAKAVENOM - weakened over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
TOSANA - raced wide early.
Race 9   GRANT MOORE SHEARING MOBILE PACE
MAGNETIC BECKERS - held up by a weakening runner rounding the final bend.
FOXING EASTON - held up rounding the final bend.
INSARCHATWIST - over-raced in the early stages and then made an unsuccessful bid for the lead through the middle stages. Weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards questioned driver K Green regarding the tactics she adopted in particular when challenging for the lead for a considerable distance through the middle stages before weakening rounding the final bend. After hearing from Ms Green Stewards adjourned the matter to give it further consideration.
MIKI KNOWS - weakened over the concluding stages.
HACKSAW RIDGE - raced wide throughout.
STILL ROCKIN - raced wide through the early and middle stages.
STEP IT UP A NOTCH - over-raced through the middle stages. Held up rounding the final bend. Driver C Dalgety reported he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
Race 10   PARAMOUNT MOTEL WINTON HANDICAP TROT
A false start was declared when MIXED FAITH breached the front line barrier strand. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Sent to the Unruly for the restart by Starter B Ward.
There was then a delay to the restart when TORQUAY STREET turned sideways and refused to come into line hampering inside runners with the field being turned away to reassemble. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
IMPERIAL MAN - switched to a pace briefly near the 150m and was returned to its correct gait by driver R McIlwrick.
XERION - trotted roughly shortly after the start losing ground.
MIXED FAITH - connections advised the mare has been served since last racing. Broke briefly shortly after the start losing ground. Shifted up the track in the run home despite the efforts of driver B Williamson then trotted roughly and was unable to be fully driven out.
OUR PINOCCHIO - shifted an inside runner down the track near the 1900m and briefly locked sulky stays with DEL'S CREATION. Held up rounding the final bend.

ONE TWO MENNY - hampered near the 1900m and broke losing considerable ground.
MISSILE - stood on the mark as the start was effected and took no part in the event. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
Race 11   C & R MOBILE PACE
TASHS BAD GIRL - connections advised the mare would be racing in season.
JACCKA EVAN - junior driver D Anderson, assisted by B Barclay, admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip & Rein Regulations that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the middle stages of run home. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250.
CAPTAIN AMORE - held up early stages of the run home.
THE REAL CRUNCH - hampered by a weakening runner near the 1600m.
CLOSE - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a mobile start prior to resuming.
OKIWI BAY - weakened from the 1700m and was retired from the race by driver M Williamson. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare had suffered an atrial fibrillation. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance including the results of an ECG before completing one trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
RIGHTAZZ - held up for clear racing room over the concluding stages of the run home.
