| JETASI - contacted and punctured the sulky tyre of DREAM ON LOU early in the run home. Driver A Poutama admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly in this incident. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250. Mr Poutama was also warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. | |

Shifted out further rounding the final turn despite the efforts of Driver P Ferguson carrying GOTTA ELECT BILL wider on the track. A final warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners. Authorisation of LORD DELMAR's 3rd placing was withheld until Driver S Abernethy (GOTTA ELECT BILL - 4th placing) had viewed the replays and elected not to proceed with a protest, with placings then being duly authorised. | |
| TWISTA - when questioned regarding the performance Driver J Dunn stated that after going back early he had then failed to get into the race as he had hoped given the strong tempo set throughout. | |
| ROUGH AND READY - had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the middle stages of the home straight. When questioned regarding the tactics adopted Driver K Coppins stated that she elected not to improve around in the middle stages as she had on the first day due to GOTTA ELECT BILL having secured the parked position, which she felt would then not be available. | |

| MAJOR MOONSHINE - commenced to over-race entering the back straight the first time when left without cover then continued to over-race when SILENT THEORY improved around three wide to its outer. When questioned regarding the performance Driver E Johnson stated that the gelding had received every opportunity. | |
