AMARULA FRANCO - broke rounding the final bend losing ground. Broke again in the run home losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
SON OF DOC - shifted outwards early in the run home. Driver B Orange was advised to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home.
CEE WHATABET - broke at the start losing ground. Raced wide from the 1300m.
THE TOWN OF LIGHT - driver S Clarke reported the gelding had over-raced during the running after one sliding blind had activated prior to the start.
THE GANGSTER - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.

PHANTOM SPUR - lay inwards through the middle stages. Raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 900m. Broke leaving the final bend hampering a trailing runner losing ground. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
Race 3   NORTH END MOTORS MOBILE PACE
CONNIE GOLIGHTLY - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Paced roughly inside the final 150m having to be steadied. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the filly had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
UNICO TESSA - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
VESTA - hung outwards throughout the run home. Driver T Williams reported he was unable to shift inwards and utilise the passing lane in consequence.
ULTIMATE RUSH - over-raced middle stages. Weakened passing the 450m before pacing roughly.
BEAUTIFUL CRAZY - required a change of sulky prior to the start. Broke in the score up losing all chance and was retired from the race. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.

A false start was declared when FAREWELL SPIT backed away just prior to the start being effected hampering a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver R Close elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart.
MAJOR PERFORMER - held up throughout the run home. Driver C Dalgety advised he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
FAREWELL SPIT - slow to begin. Raced wide with cover from the 900m. Paced roughly passing the 200m when briefly jostling for a position with MISTY BLUE.
DESTINY'S DREAM - broke at the start hampering a trailing runner losing ground.
THE COALMAN - hampered and broke briefly at the start losing ground. Raced wide from the 1200m.
SHANNON B - the off side front hopple carrier broke during the running. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition.

GENERAL REBECK - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Over-raced middle stages. Checked by a fallen runner near the 1150m. Weakened leaving the final bend.
CARLIN - broke at the start losing ground. Raced wide early. Forced wider on the track passing the 1700m. When questioned regarding the performance driver S Tomlinson advised the gelding had worked hard in the early stages after being forced wider on the track when an inside runner shifted ground outwards and had been unsuited to racing in the parked position.
QUICKER THAN QUICK - raced wide early. Forced wider on the track passing the 1700m.
ANYTIME AT ALL - held up early in the run home.
ELEKTRA KING - broke at the start and shifted inwards checking a trailing runner losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Raced wide early.
NOT OVER - held up throughout the run home.
ARCHIE - held up in the early and middle stages of the run home.
DOCTOR TIM - held up in the early and middle stages of the run home.
FESTUS HAGGEN - checked by a fallen runner near the 1150m.
FLYAWAY - lay inwards near the 900m striking a track marker. Again lay inwards near the 500m striking a track marker. Held up throughout the run home.
JAY R TOLKIEN - shifted outwards near the 1700m forcing outside runners wider on the track. Driver M Howard admitted a breach of the Push Out Rule 869(4)(6)(b)(c) and after viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Howard's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 18 December 2025 (3 days). Over-raced and broke after becoming awkwardly placed close to the sulky of ELEKTRA KING near the 1150m despite the efforts of Mr Howard and fell checking trailing runners. Mr Howard was unharmed in this incident. A post-race veterinary examination of JAY R TOLKIEN revealed no abnormalities. JAY R TOLKIEN was stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
STYLISH LUSTRE - raced wide early. Forced wider on the track passing the 1700m.
KUSHITE WARRIOR - checked and broke at the start losing ground. Checked by a fallen runner near the 1150m.
ONE EYE BANDIT - checked by a fallen runner near the 1150m.
Race 10   FRESH CHOICE GERALDINE TROTTERS CUP (HANDICAP TROT)
RANDEL HUSTON P - hampered by a slight easing of the pace near the 500m. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 350m. Trotted roughly in the run home.
PREMIUM PLAYER - struck a track marker near the 2000m. Driver G Smith was issued a warning. Hampered by a slight easing of the pace near the 500m.
SUNNY LOUIS - broke at the start losing all chance.
MAJOR DOOSIE - trotted roughly and broke near the 350m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. Driver K Butt reported the gelding cast a shoe during the running.
VERTIGO - hampered by a slight easing of the pace near the 500m.
TACTICAL BID - trotted roughly passing the 500m resulting in a slight easing of the pace hampering trailing runners. Broke near the 350m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Trainer/driver B Butt advised the gelding will be sent for a spell.
HELLOVEAMOMENT - weakened near the 550m.
MAUI - Stewards questioned driver D McCormick regarding the manner in which he drove in the run home when his left foot dropped from the sulky footrest on several occasions resulting in contact being made with the gelding's hind leg. Mr McCormick explained that his sulky seat had slipped backwards at the start placing him at a disadvantage resulting in him having difficulty keeping his foot in the sulky rest while driving his runner out. After considering his explanation and viewing the position of the sulky seat following the race, Stewards were satisfied the contact had been accidental and took the matter no further.
I DREAM OF JEANNIE - the near side number detached during the running. Driver J Dunn advised he did not activate the removable deafeners or sliding blinds due to having the field covered.
Race 11   ECOLAB MOBILE PACE
The start was delayed two minutes at the request of the TAB.
BEAUDIENE ALWAYS B - driver C Dalgety reported he sustained a punctured sulky tyre during the running.
ACENTO - raced wide early. Held up early in the run home.
FRANCO HUMBIE - raced wide early and middle stages.
BURNHAM GIRL - raced wide throughout.
TOPAZ - raced wide early and middle stages.
MIGHTY FLYING LOU - held up early in the run home. Hung inwards inside the final 200m causing driver G O'Reilly difficulty.
QUINN - over-raced middle stages. Hung inwards early in the run home and was unable to be shifted wider by driver S Tomlinson resulting in the gelding being held up for clear racing room.
A BETTER JACKALACK - broke in the score up losing ground. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
STEPHS BOY - held up in the middle stages of the run home.
CRYSTAL - over-raced middle stages.
