Race 1   CHRISTMAS MOVIE SERIES, DEC 7TH 14TH & 21ST TROT
ORDAINED - hampered by a breaking runner near the 300m.
PAT YATES - broke near the 400m hampering trailing runners and lost its chance. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
SHARP IMAGE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 300m.
GRACE N ELEGANCE - over-raced middle stages.
CONRAD H - broke at the start losing ground before settling at the rear.
WYNBERG JANIE - broke near the 900m losing all chance.
KISS MY PIXEL - hampered near the 300m by a breaking runner.
SKEE PRINCESS - broke passing the 600m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
LEVI - raced wide early then broke rounding the first turn losing all chance. Broke again near the 1400m when trailing the field and continued on in a strong gallop for a considerable distance despite the efforts of Driver A Poutama. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
Race 2   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS MOBILE PACE
AUCTIONEER - Driver T Mitchell was spoken to advisedly in relation to the manner in which he used the whip on the final turn when activating gear.
PASS CODE - weakened near the 400m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. A warning was placed on the mare's racing performance.
Race 3   O'CONNOR WARREN INSURANCE MOBILE PACE
MIKI'S MOMENT - raced wide early before being restrained towards the rear.
BELL FIRE - held up early in the run home. Driver H Orange was shown the replay and spoken to advisedly regarding his apparent lack of vigour over the final stages and reminded of his obligations to ensure he leaves no room for query in the future.
Race 4   IRT. YOUR HORSE. OUR PASSION MOBILE PACE
SECRETS ABOUND - over-raced middle stages. Paced roughly and stumbled passing the 200m.
ALWAYS B MISTY - beaten for early speed. When questioned regarding the performance Driver M McKendry advised that after getting back early he had attempted to improve wide from the 600m but had been unable to make up sufficient ground on the leader given the solid closing sectionals.
MURTLE THE TURTLE - connections advised that the mare would be racing in season. Over-raced briefly middle stages.
KINGS WATCH - Driver T Mitchell was questioned in relation to having an attendant with this runner inside the final minute and his explanation was accepted on this occasion. Not withstanding this Mr Mitchell was reminded of his obligations given similar circumstances in the future.
DREAMS OF ERIC - over-raced middle stages when outside the leader. Weakened rounding the final turn.
DESERT DAWN - weakened leaving the final turn.
Race 5   HAPPY HIRE HANDICAP TROT
Driver J Robinson (VERONICA JANE) is to be spoken to in the coming days in relation to initially coming to the start out of position which resulted in a short delay before taking up his correct position.
TINKERBELLE - shifted out late in the run home but did not affect the chances of the 2nd placed SON OF PATRICK. When questioned regarding the improved performance Driver T Mitchell stated that the mare had benefitted from setting its own terms in front throughout in what was its third race since joining the stable.
KENNY HILL - lay in contacting track markers near the 250m.
VERONICA JANE - broke briefly at the start losing ground.
HAYLEY MHOR - removed from the unruly for future standing starts.
MAKAKU - late scratching at 4.11pm on veterinary advice.
SON OF PATRICK - swung inwards as the barriers were released and was slow to begin.
Race 6   HIRE A VENUE AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
BUGALUGS - held up final turn.
PROVISEUR - held up final turn and early stages of the run home.
MIDFREW LUCRE - Driver J Kriechbaumer was issued a warning for allowing his gelding to shift outwards rounding the final turn when activating gear which forced TUGAWAR wider on the track. Authorization of 1st placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied that there were insufficient grounds for a protest with connections of TUGAWAR also electing not to protest when given the opportunity.
MANDALA - when questioned regarding the performance Diver F Phelan stated the filly had raced lethargically. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
