Race 1   TAB - METRO PACERS HEAT 3 MOBILE PACE
ANOTHER COLLECT - hampered rounding the final turn. Driver B Purdon admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip free of the rein early in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.
BRUNTWOOD BRIGADE - locked wheels with an inside runner passing the 400m losing ground.
SOCIAL DISTANCING - broke early in the score up but was in position at the candy pole. Over-raced middle stages. Lay out and paced roughly leaving the back straight the final time before locking wheels with an outside runner passing the 400m hampering a trailing runner and losing ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners. When questioned regarding the performance Driver T Herlihy confirmed that he encountered steering difficulties rounding the final turn but added that this runner had received every opportunity.
DAVE DULEY - Co-Trainers R & J Dunn were warned for the late notification of Driver P Ferguson.
Race 2   TAB - METRO TROTTERS HEAT 2 MOBILE TROT
PAT YATES - broke near the 400m losing its chance.
WHATEVER IT TAKES - switched to a pace then galloped shortly after the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Weakened rounding the final turn.
SHES ALL LEGS - over-raced middle stages.
EYE SEE YOU - raced wide early. Broke passing the 150m.
YUROK - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. Forced wide near the 1100m. Weakened rounding the final turn.
CRAZY - Driver T Hall admitted a charge under Rule 869(4)(6)(b)(c) in that he shifted his gelding out near the 1100m forcing YUROK to race wider on the track. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200.
Race 3   BIRD & BARROW FLYING MOBILE PACE
SUPERSCRIPT - paced roughly shortly after the start then again at various stages. Weakened from the 700m hampering trailing runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. When questioned regarding the performance Co-Trainer G Hughes advised that the mare had over-raced early which had taken its toll and that he would be making a gear change prior to resuming.
BLACK BEAUTY - unable to hold the back of the leader near the 1600m which enabled JUST US TWO to shift down to fill that position.
GLORIA STEINEM - hampered by a weakening runner near the 700m.

Race 4   CLASSIQUE LANDSCAPERS HANDICAP TROT
LEVI - broke at the start losing all chance.
HILL BILLIE BUNDY - shifted up the track shortly after the start when appearing to shy at the Clerk of the Course who was positioned near the marker line on the infield and lost ground. When questioned Clerk R Weller advised that he thought a false start may have been declared after a car alarm activated shortly after the barriers were released so took up a position where he could assist with stopping the field if required.
MAKAKU - slow early then lost ground rounding the first turn. Broke passing the 150m. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
Race 5   RODEWALD CONSULTING MOBILE PACE
MESSENGER BUOY - lay in when attempting to shift wider near the 200m.
RAGNAR LOTHBROK - raced in restricted room briefly passing the 200m.
Race 6   THAMES MEMBERS HANDICAP TROT
A false start was declared at the first attempt due to the front barrier strand failing to clear CASTANA.
HILLBILLY BLUES - over-raced middle stages when outside the leader.
BOLT FOR THE HILL - broke at the start and shifted in hampering a trailing runner before losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts.
SOUTHERN DIAMOND - broke at the start losing ground.
ROMEO FOXTROT - hampered after the start.
Race 7   THAMES GOLDFIELDS SUMMER CUP HANDICAP PACE
VILLAGE REBEL - required the assistance of an attendant prior to the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
CAPTAIN SAMPSON - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
LITTLE SPIKE - broke at the start losing ground.
THE SURFER - broke briefly at the start.
