Trainer T Barron also expressed his disappointment and advised he would have blood tests conducted on the gelding in the coming days and undertook to report any findings to Stewards. | |
| BOWLEM OVER - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after driver S Walkinshaw reported the gelding had felt indifferent in action during the preliminary and was subsequently declared a late scratching at 6.33pm on veterinary advice. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming. | |
