Race 1   PROPERTY BROKERS RANGIORA RACEDAY MOBILE PACE
WATERHOLES ROAD - driver D Roberts advised he was unable to activate the sliding blinds due to the cord becoming entangled.
BETTERTHANDIVA - driver A Edge was issued a warning for using his whip free of the rein on one occasion rounding the final bend.
LILY'S A STAR - broke as the start was effected losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Awkwardly placed close to the sulky of MOUTON CADET near the 1600m due to an easing of the pace. Broke again near the 700m losing all chance. A warning was also placed on the racing record of the mare. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
DON'T TELL JENNY - over-raced middle stages. Driver A White was issued a warning for his lack of control when allowing his runner to shift wider leaving the final bend when leading. Mr White admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip free of the rein on one occasion early in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250.
MOUTON CADET - over-raced when wide on the track in the early stages.
Race 2   PROPERTY BROKERS RANGIORA 'PROUD TO BE HERE' TROT
MAROUBRA - hampered by an inside runner early in the run home. Connections advised a sulky tyre deflated during the running.
INQUIZITIVE MAN - weakened final bend.
HADLEYMAE - broke briefly shortly after the start losing ground. Hung outwards at various stages during the running. Raced wide from the 900m. Weakened early in the run home.
ARDEN SOLITAIRE - broke at the start losing all chance.
KING CHARLES - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Authorisation of 2nd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
SOMETHING ELSE - lay outwards when driver J Dunn activated gear early in the run home hampering outside runner.
Race 3   PROPERTY BROKERS RANGIORA 'PROUD BUNCH' MOBILE PACE
THE HIGHLANDER - checked by a breaking runner near the 1600m. Placed in restricted room near the 1500m striking track markers.
FOVEAUX GAMBLER - broke near the 1600m checking trailing runners losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Paced roughly at various stages when weakening from the 800m before breaking again near the 350m losing all chance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
TOPAZ - checked by a breaking runner near the 1600m. Held up final bend. Broke near the 100m losing its chance. Trainer J McDermott was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice after a hopple side carrier came adrift during the running.
Race 4   PROPERTY BROKERS RANGIORA 'COMMUNITY FOCUSSED' MOBILE PACE
RADIOACTIVE JAFFA - paced roughly and broke after 150m losing ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a cut on the right fore pastern which was treated. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
SANTANNA MACH - raced wide early.
DO YOU WANNA DANCE - held up throughout the run home. Driver G Smith advised he did not activate the removable gear in consequence. When questioned regarding his decision not to take the run available in the passing lane Mr Smith advised he believed that STYLISH LUSTRE would take this run and that the leader HERE COMES MARTY had been laying outwards under pressure which he felt would provide him with clear racing room however this did not eventuate resulting in him being held up. After viewing the replays Stewards were satisfied his explanation was not unreasonable in the circumstances and took the matter no further.
AR GEE RULZ - raced wide early. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
HI LIFE - over-raced middle stages.
GIRLSHAVTIME - weakened in the run home.
WHATZ MY CHOICE - driver C Dalgety advised he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
SHADES OF ROBYN - over-raced middle stages. Paced roughly for a distance passing the 800m. Weakened in the run home.
Race 5   PROPERTY BROKERS RANGIORA 'LOVE OUR CLIENTS' MOBILE TROT
STEELINTHEHEEL - trotted roughly before weakening final bend hampering trailing runners.
SOLEMN SON - broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
FEISTY PAT - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.

MILLION DOLLAR CHIC - connections advised the mare would be racing in foal. Broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver W House advised he will be recommending gear changes prior to racing next.
