Race 1   FRIDAY STEAK NIGHT AT THE CLUBHOUSE MOBILE PACE
JACCKA OPA - Driver K Coppins reported she had been unable to activate the removable deafeners despite her efforts.
MIKI'S MOMENT - raced wide early.
ENZO - paced roughly and lost ground rounding the first turn and trailed the field before breaking near the 750m losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
Race 2   2025 THAMES TROTTERS COUNTRY CUP HANDICAP TROT
CRACKERJACK - pre-race warmed. Driver P Ferguson reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
MAKAKU - broke passing the 400m losing all chance.
JOHNNY WHO - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
LORD POPINJAY - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Broke near the 300m losing all chance.
Race 3   HIRE A VENUE AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
TUAREG - lay in contacting and dislodging track markers near the 400m.
TIPSTAR - lay out throughout the run home. Driver P Ferguson reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
MOENUI MISS - Driver L Hibell reported that a sulky tyre deflated near the 1200m.
KALIOPI - weakened from the 500m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
CUPIDS ARROW - lay in and contacted a track marker near the 1750m. Paced roughly near the 750m.
Race 4   WEDNESDAY QUIZ NIGHT AT THE CLUBHOUSE HANDICAP TROT
VALENTINA SHEVCHENKO - lay in when weakening near the 400m dislodging a track marker.
SHARP N SMOOTH - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier manners. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of connections.
KC'S PRINCESS - weakened from the 700m. Broke passing the 150m. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
GRACE N ELEGANCE - raced wide early before being restrained towards the rear. Raced four then five wide from the 800m.
EYES TO HEAVEN - broke entering the first turn losing considerable ground and trailed the field throughout. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
SO MYSTIFYING - slow early.
Race 5   CHRISTMAS AT THE RACEWAY TICKETS ON SALE NOW MOBILE PACE
BRUNTWOOD BRIGADE - Driver J Dunn was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
FIFTH AND FINAL - raced wide early.
SECRETS ABOUND - paced roughly late in the score up and was back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Paced roughly again entering the first turn when at the rear.
SWEET DIOR - lay in shortly after the start and rounding the first turn. Continued to lay in at various stages.
SUNSET STRIP - over-raced middle stages. The murphy blind became detached during the running.
Race 6   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS HANDICAP TROT
COSMIC ANGEL - broke at the start losing all chance.
BANGKOK BETTY - broke at the start losing ground. Broke passing the 200m.
BRIENNE - Driver M White admitted a charge under Rule 869(4) and the Home Straight Regulations in that he allowed his mare to shift outwards early in the run home placing TRIFOLIUM (T Mitchell) in restricted room for some distance. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.
TRIFOLIUM - raced wide early. Placed in restricted room by an inside runner in the home straight.
EAGLE HANOVER - raced wide early before securing a position midfield in the running line.
HUGHIE WALLACE - raced four wide from the 600m.
HIGHVIEW ROCKN ROLL - slow early. Raced four wide from the 700m.
VISCOUNT MACKENDON - held up early in the home straight having to shift ground inwards to secure clear running.
RUBBLE ON THE DOUBLE - held up throughout the run home.
BUSY CANOODLING - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.

SHAKE A LEG - broke in the score up and was back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
TASI AHNAU - weakened rounding the final turn.
WORDS - over-raced middle stages when leading. Shifted outwards rounding the final turn and then again passing the 100m hampering outside runners. Stewards lodged a protest under Rule 869A(2) against 1st placing being awarded to WORDS (Junior Driver E Johnson assisted by J Abernethy) on the grounds of alleged interference to the outside runners 2nd placed MUCHACHO (Junior Driver H Orange assisted by Trainer Z Meredith), 3rd placed BARBAROSSA (Junior Driver B Wilkins assisted by B Butcher) and 4th placed MELODY BANNER (Junior Driver J Dunn assisted by B Hackett). After viewing the replays and hearing the relative evidence Stewards did not proceed with the protest in relation to the interference to the 3rd and 4th placed runners after it was established that they would not have beaten the winner. The Adjudicative Committee upheld the protest in relation to interference to the 2nd placed MUCHACHO and relegated WORDS to 2nd placing behind that runner. Stewards took no action against Driver E Johnson as they were satisfied that she had fulfilled her obligations in relation to the corrective action she took throughout the run home. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
MUCHACHO - hampered by an inside runner passing the 100m. Promoted to 1st placing.
BARBAROSSA - hampered passing the 100m.
DELIGHTFUL CHIC - weakened leaving the final turn.
MELODY BANNER - lay out and paced roughly near the 450m. Hampered passing the 100m.
MAKO - paced roughly late in the score up and was back from position at dispatch before being retired from the event. MAKO was immediately attended to by the oncourse Veterinarian who determined that the horse ambulance was not required. A further post-race veterinary examination revealed that the gelding had suffered an atrial fibrillation. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance including the results of an ECG prior to completing one satisfactory trial before resuming.
Race 8   GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND 2YO FILLIES MOBILE PACE
The start of this race was delayed 11 minutes due to the protest in the previous race.
DOLLY PARTON - held up over the final 50m.
CANNED HEAT - raced wide early before being restrained towards the rear.
LINCOLN'S SPICE - weakened final turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
Race 9   2025 THAMES PACERS COUNTRY CUP HANDICAP PACE
The start was delayed at the first attempt with the field being turned out of line due to LADY OF THE LIGHT becoming fractious. This mare was sent to the unruly for the restart where it will remain for future stands.
TURN O THE TIDE - broke at the start and shifted out briefly hampering an outside runner losing ground before settling. Lay in and paced roughly rounding the final turn losing ground.
DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER - lay in contacting track markers near the 900m and again near the 250m.
JOES ROCK - broke entering the first turn losing ground.
LADY OF THE LIGHT - broke at the start losing ground.
YOU LITTLE BEAUTY - briefly hampered by an inside runner shortly after the start. Raced wide with cover from the 950m.
TWISTA - raced wide early after unsuccessfully contesting for a position in the running line with YOU LITTLE BEAUTY. Was then obliged to remain wide without cover when unable to secure the position outside the leader which was being held by VILLAGE REBEL. Weakened rounding the final turn.
LITTLE SPIKE - required assistance by an attendant after becoming fractious when parading. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
Race 10   WAIKATO TROTTING BREEEDERS STAKES OF 2025 HANDICAP TROT
A false start was declared at the first attempt when JASINOVA breasted the 10m barrier strand which then did not clear the mare and an inside runner.
SHESGOLD - held up final turn and early stages of the run home.
JASINOVA - required assistance from an attendant at the first attempt. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners. Driver L Chin was issued a $200 Minor Infringement Notice for causing a false start after allowing his runner to breast the 10m barrier strand. Dr Chin was spoken to advisedly with regard to maintaining a straight course in the run home when having a clear run to the line.
CON GRAZIA LOVE - over-raced middle stages. Held up final turn and was then disappointed for a run to the inside of ELIZABETH HILL in the passing lane before contacting a track marker near the 80m when being steadied.
OCEAN EYES - raced wide middle stages. Weakened final turn. When questioned regarding the performance Driver H Orange stated that the midrace effort had taken its toll.
HAYLEY MHOR - broke near the 2100m losing ground before settling at the rear. Lay in contacting track markers near the 250m.
LOTERIA - pre-race warmed. Raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages.
AMERICAN MUSCLE - held up final turn and early stages of the run home.
Race 11   NZMCA PARKING ON SITE SOUTH OF THE BOMBAYS MOBILE PACE
SEA OF LOVE - over-raced middle stages. Raced in restricted room late in the run home.
AUCTIONEER - lay out when attempting to use the passing lane early in the run home having to be corrected
MARY MAGDALENE - raced wide early before being restrained to obtain a position in the running line back in midfield.
