The on course race book incorrectly showed the front line limit in Race 1 as being 10 not the official limit of 9 with this information being disseminated through the appropriate channels.

HOOF IT HAGRID - trotted roughly near the 250m losing ground. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised the gelding had been striking the sulky wheel discs rounding the first bend causing it to over-race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
MAJESDIX - lay inwards final bend striking track markers.
MISS MELANIE - lay outwards near the 600m when weakening placing outside runner in restricted room. When questioned regarding the performance driver S Thornley advised he was disappointed with the effort and was unable to provide any explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
MASSIVE MERC - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1600m. Weakened from the 700m. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver C Ferguson advised the gelding had raced lethargically. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Mr Ferguson advised he would give consideration to sending the horse for a spell.
WHAT THE BELL - broke after 200m losing ground.
TU TANGATA - raced wide from the 1200m. Broke near the 400m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Driver P Nairn admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip free of the rein on one occasion near the 500m. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Nairn's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 13 November up to and including 21 November 2025 (3 days).
RUTHLESS EMMA - crowded near the 600m when an inside runner lay outwards and contacted the sulky wheel of TU TANGATA losing ground.
SHEILA LAXON - held up by a weakening runner passing the 500m. Driver S O'Reilly advised she did not activate the sliding blinds due to the mare hanging inwards causing her difficulty.

LAKELSA - paced roughly rounding the first bend. Driver R Close reported the gelding had been making abnormal breathing noises during the running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
DOUBLE TIME - held up throughout the run home.
RENEGADE - raced wide early. Weakened leaving the final bend.
MACANDREW AVIATOR - raced wide early.
HADRON COLLIDER - raced wide early.
THE SURFER - cast the near fore shoe near the 1100m. Held up until late in the run home. Driver S Ottley advised she did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
CHASE A DREAM - when questioned regarding the performance co-trainer/driver M Purdon advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery.

Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.

A HILL TWO MENNY - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.

MOSES - hung inwards rounding the final bend crowding an inside runner.

Struck track markers when weakening leaving the final bend hampering trailing runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. MOVE IT LOU - weakened from the 700m hampering a trailing runner. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver T Herlihy advised he was disappointed with the effort and would be considering sending the gelding for a spell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery.
JUMAL - driver S Ottley defended a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations alleging that she used her whip in a continuous manner late in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Miss Ottley, the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and suspended her driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 21 November up to and including 28 November 2025. (4 days).
FUGITIVE - weakened from the 500m. When questioned regarding the performance driver C Dalgety advised he was disappointed with the effort despite working hard in the early stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery. Connections advised they will have blood tests taken from the gelding in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.
MYSTERY CREEK - hampered by a weakening runner near the 700m.
ALLAMERICANPLAYER - raced wide early.
EUN SOGNO - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver R May. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide from the 800m.

Driver B Hope admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly when easing the pace in an abrupt manner near the 1900m hampering and checking trailing runners. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Hope's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 14 November up to and including 28 November 2025 (5 days).
MIGHTY LOGAN - raced wide early. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend. Held up early in the run home.
MR LOVE - raced wide early. Checked after an easing of the pace near the 1900m. Trotted roughly in the run home.
OSCAR BONAVENA - pre-race warmed. Over-raced middle stages. Checked after an easing of the pace near the 1900m. Raced wide from the 700m. Briefly placed in restricted room leaving the final bend when an outside runner lay inwards. Held up early in the run home.
LOVE N THE PORT - raced wide early. Checked and broke near the 1900m losing ground. Trotted roughly passing the 1000m losing ground before breaking near the 800m losing all chance.
FATHER TIME - had to be steadied near the 1900m after an easing of the pace resulting in the gaiting strap coming adrift shortly after with the trailing PARISIAN ARTISTE being hampered when standing on this piece of gear near the 1750m. Trainer K Townley was found not to be at fault. Raced wide from the 900m.
PARISIAN ARTISTE - over-raced middle stages. Hampered near the 1750m. Raced four wide from the 700m. Lay inwards leaving the final bend briefly placing an inside runner in restricted room.
MIDNIGHT DASH - hampered by an easing of the pace near the 1900m.
GUS - pre-race warmed. Checked after an easing of the pace near the 1900m.
BET N WIN - raced wide early. Hampered by an easing of the pace near the 1900m. Raced wide from the 800m.

BRYCE'S MEDDLE - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver R Harrison. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
ROCK OR BUST - driver G Dixon advised he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
IT'S TOUGH - lay inwards near the 1500m striking a track marker.
MAGICIAN - raced wide early.
DANCE TILL DAWN - connections advised the mare would be racing in foal. Raced wide early. Held up throughout the run home.
BAZOOKA - slow to leave the pre-race formation and paced roughly in the score up resulting in the gelding being out of position at the start. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. Driver S Ottley reported the gelding had paced roughly and raced lethargically throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed minor lameness in the left hind leg. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.

MERLIN - forced to race four wide near the 950m. Lay inwards rounding the final bend. Held up for a short distance near the 200m.
PINSEEKER - weakened from the 700m. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver J Cox advised the gelding had over-raced and been making abnormal breathing noises. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
REPUBLICAN PARTY - pre-raced warmed.
LEAP TO FAME - raced wide early.
VESSEM - hampered by a weakening runner near the 800m losing ground.
SOONER THE BETTOR - raced wide early. Weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance co-trainer/driver S Phelan advised he was disappointed and felt the horse had failed to handle the extra distance of today's race.
KINGMAN - broke briefly near the 2450m when there was a slight easing of the pace hampering a trailing runner. Raced wide from the 1400m. Driver L McCarthy admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr McCarthy's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 14 November up to and including 20 November 2025 (5 days) and imposed a fine of $3,300.

When questioned regarding the performance driver R May advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be showing signs of muscle tie up.
