Race 1   BRUSKI FARMS MOBILE PACE
TASHS BAD GIRL - junior driver N Kyle, assisted by A Kyle, admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations that she used her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion and in a continuous manner in the run home. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a suspension of Miss Kyle's junior driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 19 November up to and including 7 December 2025 (3 days).
BABE ON THE BEACH - the required veterinary clearance was received. Trainer C Ferguson was issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the mare without the notified blinds. Broke after 150m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
Race 2   HARTSOUTH LIMITED 2YO MOBILE PACE
STRANGER THINGS - held up early stages of the run home.
MATILDA TOO - hung inwards middle stages.
CAPITAL JAY - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home.
RAKATURBO - raced wide early.
Race 3   VETSOUTH EQUINE WDC25 HEAT 16 (MOBILE PACE)
KENSI - over-raced in the score up.
DIAMONDSONMYSHOES - held up final bend and early stages of the run home.
ALWAYS B ROYAL - had to be steadied near the 900m when there was a slight easing of the pace.
TILLY DUNNAGE - raced three wide until reaching the parked position near the 900m.
TRENDY VAN GOGH - raced wide early stages. Had to be steadied near the 900m when there was a slight easing of the pace.
RAKERO LIGHTNING - connections reported the mare would be racing in season. Had to be steadied near the 900m when there was a slight easing of the pace. Raced wide from the 850m.
Race 4   STEARNE ROOFING GOLD CHIP FINAL (HANDICAP TROT)
SONNY JIM - slow away.
GLENDHU MISCHIEF -lay inwards and raced inside the final track marker. After reviewing the footage Stewards were satisfied the gelding had not gained an advantage.
DIDN'T DI - broke near the 1700m and initially lay outwards and was taken wider on the track hampering and checking trailing runners losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Weakened final bend.
PHISHING - broke after 100m losing all chance.
MAJESTIC CHALLEN - contacted the final track marker. Driver E Barron was issued with a warning. Held up early stages of the run home.
JACCKA ACE - broke at the start losing all chance.
POPNROCK - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Broke again passing the 1150m losing ground. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
HENNESSY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1700m.
THE GREEK FREAK - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1700m.
LADY WHISTLEDOWN - broke after 100m losing all chance.
AXEL ROSE - checked and broke near the 1700m losing ground. Authorisation of 1st placing was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation. Driver M Williamson reported he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
MONARO MEDORA - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1700m.
TILLABERI - slow early stages.
Race 5   NIGHT 'N DAY WINTON WDC25 HEAT 17 (MOBILE PACE)
HOGIE - held up throughout the run home. Driver B Orange reported he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
RISE UP N DANCE - had difficulty obtaining clear running throughout the run home.
SUPERFAST - out of position at the start. Driver M Nimczyk was issued with a warning. Mr Nimczyk was also issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for using his whip with his foot removed from the sulky footrest in the run home.
BAUTISTA - had difficulty obtaining clear running throughout the run home.
VAN LIBERTY - raced wide from the 1050m.
Race 6   SMITH & BROWN PARTNERSHIP MOBILE PACE
MIGHTY MIKI - over-raced when held up final bend. Hampered near the 300m.
JUSTA CRUNCH - broke shortly after the start losing ground, then paced roughly and broke again shortly after hampering a trailing runner. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile starts. Hampered by an easing of the pace near the 1300m. Weakened final bend.
BALTIC STAR - dictated wider on the track near the 300m.
VICE CHAIRWOMAN - hampered by an easing of the pace near the 1300m. Checked when weakening near the 300m.
AHTHEMIGHTYTRUMPET - lay outwards for a distance rounding the final bend and again lay outwards near the 300m when placed under pressure, dictating BALTIC STAR outwards resulting in the trailing MIGHTY MIKI being hampered and placing the weakening VICE CHAIRWOMAN in restricted room which was checked. Stewards questioned driver M Hurrell in relation to his drive and after hearing from Mr Hurrell and viewing the replays he was advised that when racing in similar circumstances in the future he is to make a greater effort to ensure his runners maintain a straight course.
RAKAQUATTRO - lay outwards which resulting in an easing of the pace near the 1300m hampering trailing runners. Lay outwards rounding the final bend. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
FRANCO SEB - raced three wide from the 800m.
LINEINTHESAND - paced roughly passing the 1500m hampering trailing runners. Hampered by an easing of the pace near the 1300m. Weakened final bend.
EL DRAEGO - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend losing ground. Hampered again by an easing of the pace near the 1300m.
HE'S ROBYN - hampered near the 1500m.
Race 7   SBSR/DIAMOND CREEK FARM WDC25 HEAT 18 (MOBILE TROT)
OUR ROSE HILL - trotted roughly rounding the final bend and broke near the 400m losing its chance. Stewards lodged a protest against 9th placing being awarded under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging the mare had broken in excess of 150m during the running. Driver B Beckwith did not contest the protest and OUR ROSE HILL was disqualified by the Stewards.
MARKTHEWARRIOR - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Stewards lodged a protest against 10th placing being awarded under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging the gelding had broken in excess of 150m during the running. Driver G Minnucci did not contest the protest and MARKTHEWARRIOR was disqualified by the Stewards.
XERION - raced inside track markers final bend. Driver J MacDonald was issued with a warning. Authorisation of 2nd placing was withheld until Stewards reviewed the footage and were satisfied the gelding had not gained an advantage.
ANDY HALL - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 900m.
IMPERIAL MAN - broke passing the 130m and failed to settle losing its chance. Stewards lodged a protest against 7th placing being awarded under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging the gelding had broken in excess of 50m inside the final 200m. Driver P Vercruysse did not contest the protest and IMPERIAL MAN was disqualified by the Stewards.
ERROL D - raced wide from the 900m. Cleared from the Unruly for future mobile starts
Race 8   GRANT MOORE SHEARING MOBILE PACE
Stewards reviewed the start and were satisfied that HERE'S JOHNY, after initially laying inwards in the early stages of the score up had not proceeded forward of the mobile gate despite racing further down the track than its correct position, therefore had not started in advance of its mark with all dividends duly authorised. Driver P Hunter was advised that in similar circumstances he is to make a better effort to be in his correct barrier position at the start.
BELUGA - raced wide from the 700m.
BY CHANCE - raced wide until reaching the parked position passing the 1200m.
RAKAVENOM - hung inwards rounding the final bend and paced roughly near the 200m losing ground, then continued to hang inwards throughout the run home.
Race 9   ULTRA-SCAN WESTERN SOUTHLAND WDC25 HEAT 19 (MOBILE PACE)
The start was initially delayed when Starter Mr B Ward was not satisfied with the manner runners addressed the mobile and further delayed when SKY PATROL became fractious and was sent to the Unruly by the Starter.
FALCONS WATCH - hung inwards at various stages. Weakened final bend.
INSARCHATWIST - over-raced when being restrained to take cover in the early stages.
PASSCHENDAELE - raced wide early and middle stages until near the 600m. Weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised that racing wide had taken its toll on the gelding.
SKY PATROL - fractious prior to the start requiring the assistance of a Starting assistant causing a delay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
