TWO JULES - held up final turn and early stages of the run home.
DAVE DULEY - held up final turn and early stages of the run home.
MEDINA MAGIC - lay in and contacted a track marker entering the first turn.
Race 2   BORDER FENCING SERVICES HANDICAP TROT
The start was delayed with the field being turned out of line at the first attempt after OVERWATCH was reluctant to face the front barrier.
OVERWATCH - fractious prior to the restart with approval given for the boring pole to be removed. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
EYE SEE YOU - weakened in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance Driver M McKendry stated that this runner had not handled the bends as well as it had previously but expected the gelding to derive benefit from the run in what was its first race for six weeks. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
JOCA'S HILL - broke rounding the first turn losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
Race 3   THE ALEX BAR & EATERY - UP TO 1 WIN 2YO FILLES MOBILE PACE
LINCOLN MAREE - slow early. Lay in contacting a track marker approaching the 1200m. Weakened from the 500m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
LINCOLN'S SPICE - paced roughly entering and rounding the first turn. Lay in at various stages. Weakened rounding the final turn hampering a trailing runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
LINCOLN DOWNS - Driver M Ranger reported that she dropped her whip approaching the 600m. Hampered by a weakening runner rounding the final turn.
DOLLY PARTON - back from position throughout the score up. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier manners. Paced roughly shortly after the start.

CON GRAZIA LOVE - over-raced middle stages when leading.
BOLT FOR THE HILL - driver S Burley was shown the replays and reminded of her obligations regarding the correct starting position when drawn unruly. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
COURMAYEUR - driver C Hackett was shown the replays and reminded of her obligations regarding the correct starting position when drawn unruly.
IT AIN'T ME BABE - driver T Hanara was shown the replays and reminded of her obligations regarding the correct starting position when drawn unruly. Had difficulty obtaining clear running in the home straight.
HALBERG - stood on the mark when the barriers were released and took no part. Authorisation of placings was withheld until Stewards viewed the replays of the start with Driver T Mitchell and were satisfied the gelding had not been denied a fair start.
LORD POPINJAY - over-raced middle stages.
Race 5   TAB - NORTHERN METRO PACERS FINAL MOBILE PACE
DOUBLE PARKED - required assistance from an attendant when becoming fractious prior to commencing the score up. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Raced in restricted room early in the run home.
ST JOHN EIGHT - over-raced middle stages. Hampered briefly approaching the 300m contacting the sulky wheel of TYTATE.
TYSON - lay out late in the run home.
TURN O THE TIDE - raced wide with cover from the 1150m. Hampered briefly approaching the 300m.
MAKO - raced wide without cover from the 1250m. Paced roughly near the 300m after having been shifted wider by CONFEDERATE briefly hampering trailing runners.
TYTATE - raced wide early after unsuccessfully competing for a position in the running line with TURN O THE TIDE. Raced wide with cover from the 1150m. Hampered briefly approaching the 300m with Driver T Macfarlane reporting that he received a punctured sulky tyre in this incident when contacted by a trailing runner.
Race 6   TAB - NORTHERN METRO TROTTERS FINAL HANDICAP TROT
ILLICIT LOVE - broke near the 1750m when racing to the inside of EYRE I WILL checking trailing runners and losing considerable ground. Stewards held an investigation into this incident and after hearing the relative evidence from Junior Driver C Hackett (ILLICIT LOVE) assisted by M Wallis, Driver S Abernethy (EYRE I WILL) and viewing the replays it was established that these runners had been contesting a position in the running line when racing on terms with neither driver being deemed to be at fault. Given the circumstances Stewards took the matter no further.
EYRE I WILL - broke at the start losing ground. Raced wide early.
YOUNEVERKNOW - checked near the 1750m losing considerable ground.
JASINOVA - checked near the 1750m losing ground.
WESTAR MILLY - checked near the 1750m losing considerable ground.
HIGHER POWER - checked and broke near the 1750m losing all chance.

TWISTA - slow to begin.
DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER - lay out throughout the run home.
JOES ROCK - broke briefly at the start.
LITTLE SPIKE - broke briefly at the start. Forced four and five wide when attempting to improve from the 400m.
JOLIMONT - broke briefly at the start. Lay in briefly approaching the 200m when improving four wide.
