Race 1   LYDERS CONTRACTING / TUAPEKA SHEEP DIPPING HANDICAP TROT
SUPERFAST LADY - lay inwards rounding the final bend striking track markers.
SONNY JIM - broke rounding the first bend hampering trailing runners losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
PHISHING - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend. Trotted roughly before weakening final bend.
BORN TO ROCK - broke rounding the first bend losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
JACCKA ACE - trotted roughly rounding the first bend losing ground. Weakened final bend.
MAJESTIC DAUGHTER - broke passing the 1750m losing all chance.
MAJESTIC CHALLEN - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend. Lay inwards near the 1300m contacting a track marker.

SEBASTIAN STARK - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Broke again passing the 1100m losing ground. Weakened final bend.
THE GREEK FREAK - held up middle stages of the run home.
OUR ROSE HILL - lay inwards and locked sulky wheels with BILL BOOTIT for a distance near the 1800m and broke in consequence losing ground.
MASSIVE MERC - trainer C Ferguson was issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice after presenting the gelding without the notified blinds. Broke at the start losing ground. Authorisation of this runner's 1st placing was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
KYLE LOCH - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1600m.
BILL BOOTIT - locked sulky wheels for a distance with OUR ROSE HILL near the 1800m.
MC SQUARED - over-raced middle stages. Driver K Franks was warned for using his whip free of the rein on one occasion in the run home. Cleared from the Unruly for future standing starts.
MONARO MEDORA - trotted roughly racing into the first bend losing ground. Broke passing the 1600m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
Race 5   NIGHT 'N DAY MILTON / SOUTHWEST SHEARING MOBILE PACE
NORTHVIEW OCEAN - broke in the score up and was retired from the race after the near fore hopple became caught in the knee boot. Driver H Douglas reported he would be recommending gear changes.
KENSI - lay inwards at stages throughout striking track markers. Driver K Tomlinson reported the mare had hung during the running.
BABE ON THE BEACH - late scratching on veterinary advice at 8.20am. Connections were advised the mare was stood down pending a Veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
TOSANA - driver M Hurrell reported he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
TRENDY VAN GOGH - over-raced in the score up and again at the start when being restrained to take cover.
Race 6   LAWRENCE TOWNHOUSE / CHAPMAN CONSTRUCTION MOBILE PACE
CAPTAIN AMORE - lay inwards near the 1250m and raced inside a track marker.
SHERWOOD MAGGIE - lay inwards final bend striking track markers.
RISING STORM - paced roughly shortly after the start. Broke after 150m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
RISE UP N DANCE - raced wide from the 700m.
AIRWAVES - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start and broke in consequence losing all chance.
SHOWCASE - lay inwards final bend striking track markers. Held up final bend and in the run home only obtaining clear racing room passing the 100m. Driver B Barclay reported he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
Race 7   J J OTAGO LTD/NIGHT 'N DAY ELLES ROAD/SUFFOLK STUD MOB PACE
INDULGE ME - lay outwards in the run home having to be corrected by driver N Williamson.
RAKATURBO - raced wider on the track near the 1300m when UNCLE WILLIAM shifted ground outwards. Stewards investigated a perceived breach of the Push Out Rule at this stage, however after viewing replays it was established that driver M Hurrell (UNCLE WILLIAM) had commenced his outwards movement prior to RAKATURBO reaching his sulky wheel with no further action required. Stewards also spoke with driver C Dalgety who advised RAKATURBO had raced greenly for a short distance rounding the bend and had over reacted when being shifted wider.
Race 8   MACCA LODGE / BILL FITZGERALD CONTRACTING MOBILE PACE
DESTINY'S DREAM - trainer J Morrison was issued with a warning after presenting the mare without the notified sliding blinds.
MR CASH MAN - lay outwards leaving the final bend.
BROOKIES PLAYER - raced wide early.
AINT NO ANGEL - weakened final bend.
Race 9   TUAPEKA LODGE CUP (HANDICAP PACE)
STEP IT UP A NOTCH - broke at the start losing ground. Over-raced through the middle stages.
DREAMS ARE FREE - broke briefly at the start losing ground.
AKATEA - a boring pole was added prior to the start.
MACANDREW AVIATOR - driver H Douglas reported that only one hopple shortener had released due to the cord breaking.

HOGIE - lay inwards in the score up.
BELUGA - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
