Race 1   FRIDAY STEAK NIGHT AT THE CLUBHOUSE MOBILE PACE
INNOCENT MAN - paced roughly and raced wide final bend.
MARY MAGDALENE - weakened leaving the final bend.
REET PETITE - raced wide early.
DREAM ON LOU - lay in during the score up and was back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
I CAN TOO - raced wide early and middle stages.
CATHY FREEMAN - weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
JACCKA OPA - had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the home straight.
Starter D Blakemore was shown the replays in relation to the mobile arm being wide throughout the score up.
Race 2   (WDC) WORLD DRIVERS CHAMPS THANKS BRECKON FARMS MOB PACE
MESSENGER BUOY - hampered approaching the 1000m by an easing of the pace.
PROVISEUR - over-raced middle stages. Hampered approaching the 1000m by an easing of the pace. Hampered again near the 200m.
ADJOURNMENT - paced roughly approaching the 200m after having been shifted wider on the track by BARBAROSSA hampering outside runners. Weakened in the run home.
DIXIELAND DELIGHT - driver A Poutama was spoken to advisedly for the manner in which he eased the pace near the 1000m hampering trailing runners.
DREAMS OF ERIC - hampered approaching the 1000m by an easing of the pace. Held up late in the run home.
LORD DELMAR - over-raced middle stages. Hampered near the 200m.
BARBAROSSA - over-raced middle stages. Hampered approaching the 1000m by an easing of the pace.
Race 3   JOIN US FOR XMAS AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY TROT
The start was delayed at the first attempt due to COOL PHELAN being reluctant to move forward onto the barrier. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
COOL PHELAN - slow early. Broke entering the first bend losing considerable ground.
GRACE N ELEGANCE - held up final bend contacting and puncturing the sulky tyre of PLAY FAST AND LOOSE. Junior driver H Moralde Sands (assisted by driver J Dickie) admitted a charge 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly in this incident. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $150. Held up throughout the run home with Ms Moralde Sands not activating the removeable deafeners as a result. Ms Moralde Sands was also questioned in relation to her decision not to shift out off the back of PLAY FAST AND LOOSE approaching the 500m before being covered by PRESIDENT FLYNNTIN. She explained that her mare had shifted in and became awkwardly placed to the sulky of PLAY FAST AND LOOSE when she had crossed her reins to turn her whip and had to be corrected which resulted in her losing the opportunity to shift out to a three wide position. After taking into account Ms Moralde Sands explanation and her relative inexperience Stewards took the matter no further other than to note the circumstances.
PLAY FAST AND LOOSE - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Driver N Chilcott reported that she sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 200m.
CYCLONE SALA - slow early. Lay in and trotted roughly approaching the 800m losing ground. Continued to lay in on various occasions striking a track marker in the run home. When questioned driver J Abernethy confirmed that the filly had failed to handle the bends and will be recommending a gear change.
Race 4   BOOK NOW FOR FAST AF FRIDAY 14th NOV MOBILE PACE
CANDY GIRL - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
CAPTAIN HOKEY - over-raced middle stages. Weakened rounding the final bend.
Race 5   CAMB RDA FUNDRAISER IN SKYLINE LOUNGE 30 OCT HCP TROT
ITMUSCLEBELOVE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 150m.
SON OF PATRICK - held up throughout the run home.
HIGHVIEW ROCKN ROLL - slow early. Broke near the 150m hampering a trailing runner losing its chance.
The track was downgraded to Easy following this event.
Race 6   NZMCA PARKING AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
TUGAWAR - fractious before the start. Slow to score up and was back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Brownlee advised that he was disappointed with the effort. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
ALWAYSBESECRET - back from position at dispatch. Driver K Hall was issued a warning.
MARIA KIRILENKO - late scratching at 8.12am on veterinary advice.
MANDALA - driver F Phelan was warned for using his whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
Trainer I Brownlee advised Stewards that TUGAWAR had recovered well and will continue in its current preparation.
