| IM SANDRA DEE - driver B Purdon reported the filly had been striking the sulky wheels on various occasions. Mr Purdon also advised that he was unable to get to the lead as he intended passing the 1000m and raced parked for the remainder of the race. Driver B Purdon was issued a warning for using his whip once free of the rein passing the 1100m and on several occasions in the run home. | |
| CAPTAIN MOONLIGHT - over-raced when being restrained to take the trail when IM SANDRA DEE attempted to get to the lead passing the 1000m. Weakened in the run home. | |
| MR MIKI - paced roughly and stumbled passing the 1900m losing its chance. Stood down to trial on one occasion to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming. | |

| AND REMEMBER ME - broke passing the 100m and continued in a break over the line. Stewards lodged a protest against 4th placing being awarded to the mare under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging AND REMEMBER ME had broken in excess of 50m inside the final 200m. Connections did not contest the protest and AND REMEMBER ME was disqualified by the Stewards. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. Driver E Johnson reported the mare had been striking the sulky wheels on various occasions. | |
| PANTANI - back from the unruly as the start was effected. Broke passing the 1100m losing considerable ground. Broke passing the 450m then again near the 250m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. | |

| MECHANICA - lay inwards rounding the first bend striking track markers. Weakened from the 750m. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Abernethy advised the filly had hung at various stages throughout. | |
| YEAH NAH - weakened final bend. Driver J Stormont advised that he was disappointed with the gelding's performance and could offer no explanation. Connections advised they will give consideration to sending the horse for a spell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. | |
| MUM'S ANGEL - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. | |
