Race 1   BORDER FENCING SERVICES MOBILE PACE
MEDIATOR - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
THE NIGHT AGENT - held up final bend and early in the run home.
BRUNTWOOD BRIGADE - weakened in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Herlihy advised that the gelding had to work through the middle stages which may have taken its toll.
FIFTH AND FINAL - held up throughout the run home.
NELSON'S BOY - lay inwards at various stages.
Race 2   THE RISING FOUNDATION TROT
BRIENNE - weakened late in the run home.
STASH THE CASH - trotted roughly in the early stages. Hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
SANINARMBRO - trotted roughly racing into the first bend. Broke near the 600m hampering trailing runners losing ground.
BANGKOK BETTY - held up early in the run home.
CYCLONE SALA - broke racing into the first bend hampering trailing runners losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer A Matthews.
PATRICK MAHOMES - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Again hampered by a breaking runner near the 600m. Held up early in the run home.
HILL BILLIE BUNDY - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Again hampered by a breaking runner near the 600m.
YOUNEVERKNOW - driver T Herlihy advised that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 3   TRILLIAN WERO WHITEWATER PARK MOBILE PACE
ABMAN - briefly placed in restricted room near the 200m.
SWEET DIOR - hung outwards near the 200m briefly placing an outside runner in restricted room.
LOVEABLE ROGUE - shifted outwards near the 600m forcing TUAREG wider.
TUAREG - broke near the 600m when becoming awkwardly placed and contacted the sulky wheel of LOVEABLE ROGUE. Stewards spoke with drivers J Stormont (LOVEABLE ROGUE) and C Hackett (TUAREG) regarding this incident. After hearing from the drivers it was established that TUAREG was slow to react when being restrained to take cover despite the efforts of driver C Hackett. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
Race 4   DUE DROP EVENTS CENTRE HANDICAP TROT
MAD MARY - late scratching at 9.37am on veterinary advice.
PRETTY IN PINK - slow to begin.
HIGHER POWER - raced wide early. Shifted outwards in the run home. Driver B Purdon was advised to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home. Driver B Purdon advised that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to the gelding trotting roughly.
EYRE I WILL - broke entering the first bend hampering trailing runners losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
VORONOV - hampered by a breaking runner entering the first bend.
JASINOVA - raced wide early.
SANTAPAZIENZA - hampered by a breaking runner entering the first bend.
Race 5   100% HOME GROUP SERVICES MOBILE PACE
CLAUDE - lay inwards striking a track marker near the 250m.
YOU LITTLE BEAUTY - driver B Butcher was warned for coming up to the start in the incorrect barrier position.
LADY OF THE LIGHT - when questioned regarding the performance driver M Ranger advised that the mare had to work hard in the early stages before racing parked for the remainder of the race which took its toll.
HOORAY HENRY - lay inwards striking a track marker near the 1250m.
Race 6   HAIER MOBILE PACE
MANTRA - weakened in the run home.
Race 7   JP & ASSOCIATES HANDICAP TROT
ILLICIT LOVE - weakened final bend.
PANTANI - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
REGAL GIRL - trotted roughly near the 800m losing ground. Broke briefly leaving the final bend. Stewards spoke with junior drivers A Harrison (assisted by P Ferguson) and H Orange (OCEAN EYES) who declined the assistance of a senior driver. It was established that Mr Orange had shifted out in a safe manner and REGAL GIRL had lay inwards marginally simultaneously to runners ahead also shifting wider at the point of the bend. When taking into account the circumstances Stewards took the matter no further and deemed it to be a racing incident.
DRAGONSTONE - broke rounding the first bend losing all chance.
IT AIN'T ME BABE - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
LORD POPINJAY - driver M Ranger was warned for striking and dislodging a track marker rounding the final bend.
Race 8   JB HI -FI TROT
The start was delayed due to OVERWATCH requiring a gear adjustment prior to the start.
PARAMOUNT SPUR - broke after 100m losing considerable ground. Broke again near the 1500m losing all chance.
PATRICIA RUBY - fractious prior to the start requiring assistance from a Starting Attendant. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
I'LL CALL YOU - broke rounding the first bend losing considerable ground. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
OVERWATCH - trotted roughly rounding the final bend.
MAJESTIC WHIZDOM - pre-race warmed. Broke at the start losing all chance.
ROYAL PETITE - broke at the start losing all chance.
HOME GROWN GIRL - pre-race warmed. Broke at the start hampering an outside runner losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a standing start prior to resuming.
IM A ROCKSTAR - slow early then hampered at the start by a breaking runner.
WHATZ THE LUCK - hampered at the start by a breaking runner. Lay inwards dislodging a track marker rounding the first bend then broke losing all chance.
Race 9   THE RISING FOUNDATION 2YO NON-WIN MOBILE PACE
HORIZON - paced roughly shortly after the start.
TWIST AND TANGO - raced wide from the 800m. Lay inwards early stages of the run home and was unable to be fully driven out by driver C Hackett. Miss Hackett advised that the bit had pulled through causing her some difficulty and that she will be recommending gear changes prior to racing.
