| Trainer B Gray reported that MIKI'S DEAL underwent an examination by his own veterinarian on return to the home stable which revealed nothing to be amiss and the filly to have recovered well. Mr Gray further advised it was his intention to continue with the current preparation of MIKI'S DEAL. |

Ms Green was examined by the oncourse St John Ambulance personnel and cleared of any injury. Started from the Unruly position at the request of trainer/driver K Green for today's race only due to being fractious after the earlier incident. Slow away and then never in contention thereafter. | |

| MACANDREW AVIATOR - a post-race veterinary examination and endoscopic procedure at the request of connections revealed the gelding to have a high respiratory rate and poor recovery. Follow up blood tests will be conducted on MACANDREW AVIATOR and connections undertook to notify the Stewards of any findings. | |
| Trainer J Douglas advised Stewards on 9 October that MACANDREW AVIATOR has been treated for a virus since last racing. | |

| The start was delayed when Starter B Ward was not satisfied with the manner a number of runners had addressed the barrier with the field being turned away to reassemble. | |
| AXEL ROSE - held up final bend. When asked to comment on the performance trainer/driver M Williamson advised that he had attempted to improve from the rear in the middle stages however had been unable to do so, further advising the gelding had raced greenly on occasions and had only trotted its best in the run home. | |
| MAJESTIC ME - stood on the mark as the start was effected losing ground. Over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver B Williamson advised that the gelding had over-raced throughout which had taken its toll, adding he will be making gear changes. Mr Williamson also requested MAJESTIC ME be placed on the Unruly for future standing starts. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a high heart rate and good recovery. | |

A post-race veterinary examination revealed BROOKIES PLAYER had suffered an atrial fibrillation. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance including the results of an ECG before completing one trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming. | |
