Race 1   KUBALA SEEDS FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
SHERWOOD MAGGIE - driver K Green reported she had difficulty steering the mare on occasions during the running.
ARTMORE - raced wide early.
SEARING LIGHT - driver B Barclay reported a sulky tyre had deflated near the 200m.
SHEZZA VINNY - raced greenly for a distance near the 1100m when attempting to take the lead. Lay in leaving the final bend.
RAKERO LIGHTNING - weakened final bend. Driver A Armour reported the mare had been cross firing during the running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
Race 2   REGIONAL FORD GORE MOBILE PACE
NORTHVIEW OCEAN - paced roughly shortly after the start.
MONTAGE - raced wide early until being restrained to the rear near the 1100m.
FRANCO HUNTINGTON - lay in rounding the bends.
TRENDY VAN GOGH - over-raced through the early and middle stages.
Race 3   AON HANDICAP TROT
LA DAMA - lay out over the concluding stages making contact with the sulky wheel of TO THE MOON AND BACK.
KRACKALING - broke at the start losing all chance.
Race 4   DALLEN COVERS MOBILE PACE
SKY PATROL - lay out rounding the final bend having to be corrected by driver B Williamson.
ITSALLABOUTTHEMONEY - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1100m. Weakened final bend.
Race 5   HOKONUI RURAL TRANSPORT MOBILE PACE
CLOSE - paced roughly shortly after the start losing ground. Again paced roughly rounding the final bend losing ground.
MAJOR TORQUE - the boring pole was removed prior to the start due to the gelding warming up unfavourably.
AINT NO ANGEL - over-raced when being restrained to take cover in the early stages. Again over-raced through the middle stages.
ROCK BAND - raced wide early.
Race 6   HELLO WORLD TRAVEL GOLD CHIP FINAL (HCP TROT)
WHAT'S THE WHISPER - broke at the start losing all chance. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer P Williamson.
SPIRITINTHESKY - broke after 100m losing ground. Broke again rounding the first bend losing all chance.
CLOTILDE WAINWRIGHT - stood on the mark and retreated backwards as the start was effected and was then hampered losing considerable ground.
PENELOPE LANE - reared and turned around as the start was effected losing all chance. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts.
KYLE LOCH - driver A Kyle admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a suspension of Mr Kyle's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 28 September until the conclusion of racing on 9 October 2025, 2 days.
MAJIC N THE PORT - broke rounding the first bend hampering a trailing runner losing ground. Weakened final bend.
OUR ROSE HILL - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend.
MUSCLE MIST - broke racing into the first bend losing ground. Paced near the 1800m having to be broken up by driver K Tomlinson losing all chance and was retired from the race. Stood down to trial on one occasion to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
HOBBS - trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
Trainer N Williamson advised Stewards on 22 October that CLOTILDE WAINWRIGHT has had its hocks treated since last racing.
Race 7   BETAVET MOBILE PACE
SEEKING CLARITY - locked wheels with FRANCO LENNON rounding the first bend after laying out when placed in restricted room.
FRANCO LENNON - lay in rounding the first bend locking wheels with SEEKING CLARITY and broke in consequence hampering a trailing runner losing ground. Stumbled and broke leaving the final bend losing all chance.
PALLADIUM - lay in rounding the first bend hampering an inside runner. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
UNCLE WILLIAM - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver S Walkinshaw. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
RAKATURBO - lay out rounding the first bend and broke losing considerable ground.
DREAM STREET - required the assistance of a Starting Attendant prior to the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the colt. Driver M Hurrell was warned for his lack of control entering the first bend when allowing his horse to race in restricted room near the sulky of SEEKING CLARITY. Hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend.
Race 8   ALBANY HOME & HOSPITAL MOBILE TROT
IMPERIAL MAN - held up final bend.
LIL WHIP - trainer T Dewe was issued with a warning for being late to notify the mare would race without sliding blinds.
RUSH - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver M Jones advised that although the mare had raced parked he was disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
BRING ON THE MUSCLE - raced wide early until reaching the lead near the 1400m.
Race 9   THE THOMAS GREEN MLT MOBILE PACE
BALTIC STAR - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile starts.
EL DRAEGO - fractious prior to and then broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Broke after 150m losing all chance and was retired from the race. A warning was also placed on the racing record of the mare.
TOP POCKET CHANCE - trainer C Buchan was issued with a warning after presenting the gelding with blinds not notified. Weakened final bend.
HEAVENS ARE HEAVING - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver M Hurrell. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Broke passing the 1300m losing ground. Broke again passing the 400m losing all chance. Driver M Hurrell reported that the filly had been striking its knees and made abnormal breathing noises during the running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to have some abrasions to its near fore and a high heart rate however had recovered well. Trainer W McDonald advised that he would give some consideration to sending HEAVENS ARE HEAVING for a spell.
CRACKASKY - weakened final bend.
BETTER KAST - broke in the score up and was back from its Unruly position at the start, losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
