Race 1   WOODLANDS STUD 'ALL STAR FIVE' MOBILE PACE
STYLISH LUSTRE - over-raced middle stages.
TROUBLESHOOTER - broke near the 900m checking trailing runners. Stewards lodged a protest against 4th placing being awarded to TROUBLESHOOTER (R May) under Rule 869A(2) alleging interference to (TOKYO ROSE) (S Ottley) placed 5th, near the 900m. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from both drivers and Stewards, the Adjudicative Committee upheld the protest and TROUBLESHOOTER was relegated to 5th placing. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
DANCING DESIRE - checked by a breaking runner near the 900m losing all chance.
ANN SOPHIE - checked by a breaking runner near the 900m losing all chance.
TOKYO ROSE - checked by a breaking runner near the 900m losing considerable ground. Hung inwards throughout the run home. Driver S Ottley advised she would be recommending gear changes. Promoted to 4th placing following a protest.
CARDI B - checked by a breaking runner near the 900m losing all chance.

There was a three minute delay to the start due to the protest in the previous race.
Race 3   IRT SIRES' STAKES SERIES 2YO TROTTERS PRELUDE (MOB TROT)
LEARNING TO FLY - weakened final bend.
REGAL SUMMIT - weakened from the 500m.
BECKY'S GIRL - placed in restricted room and raced over several track markers rounding the final bend.
WHO'S YA DADDY - Stewards lodged a protest against 2nd placing being awarded under Rule 859(2) to determine whether the gelding had started in advance of its correct unruly position on the second line. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards, driver B Butt and Starter R Donnelly, the Adjudicative Committee dismissed the protest. Cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.
KYVALLEY RAY - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the colt. Hung inwards rounding the final bend forcing BECKY'S GIRL to race over several track markers.
Race 4   LAZARUS STANDING AT WAI EYRE FARM MOBILE PACE
SMOKING ASHES - had to be steadied late in the run home.
BETTOR GO VINNIE - hung outwards when leading passing the 650m.
ALLBETSROFF - over-raced early and middle stages. Hung inwards when weakening rounding the final bend.
JOHN STEWART - lay inwards on several occasions throughout the running.
SUPER FUND - over-raced middle stages.
DELIGHTFUL DREAMS - over-raced middle stages.
Race 5   MAJESTIC HORSE FLOATS 2YO FILLIES MOBILE PACE
LARISSA LILY - required the assistance of a Starting Attendant prior to the start. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a mobile start prior to resuming. Hung inwards and raced greenly near the 250m and again near the 100m having to be straightened.
Race 6   MACCA LODGE NZ SIRES STAKES 3YO CLASSIQUE (MOB TROT)
PARAMOUNT PICTURE - lay inwards on several occasions through the running. Broke near the 400m hampering trailing runners losing all chance.
SNOOOWGOOD - lay outwards through the early and middle stages.
RANGITATA - trotted roughly near the 500m.
MISS MELANIE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m. Lay inwards and struck track markers rounding the final bend.
ATLANTIC CITY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m.
HABIBTI PAT - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
Race 7   LAMB & HAYWARD MOBILE PACE
ROCK OR BUST - raced wide without cover from the 800m.
KISS THE GIRLS - over-raced when being restrained for a distance passing the 1900m. Checked when LIGHT ME UP shifted inwards near the 150m losing its chance.
LIGHT ME UP - shifted inwards near the 150m checking KISS THE GIRLS (K Butt). Driver R Close admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly when shifting ground. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Close's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 28 September up to and including 5 October 2025 (4 days).
Race 8   WOODLANDS STUD 2YO SIRES STAKES SERIES (HEAT 2) MOB PACE
B B KING - weakened from the 500m hampering a trailing runner.
FRANCO LENNON - struck track markers rounding the final bend. Driver T Chmiel was issued a warning.
NIKOLAI RAY - hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m.
KOTARE RIMU - broke after 100m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
Race 9   FAHEY FENCE HIRE MOBILE TROT
A false start was declared when YA EEJIT YA broke in the score up checking a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver B Hope elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart.
YA EEJIT YA - broke again in the score up of the restart however was in its correct barrier position at the start.
BRETT'S MATE - raced wide without cover from the 1100m.
NAZARETH - held up late in the run home.
STYX JEWEL - held up early in the run home.
MAD JACK - raced wide early. Trotted roughly and lay outwards early in the run home despite the efforts of driver P Nairn. Broke late in the run home.
RUSH - raced wide early.
FRANCO JOSIAH - over-raced when racing wide in the early stages. Weakened final bend.
MUSCLE SASS - held up over the concluding stages.
FATHER TIME - raced wide from the 1200m.
TI AMO BELLE - over-raced middle stages.
Race 10   CUP WEEK TICKETS ON SALE NOW HANDICAP PACE
ARTHUR SHELBY - tangled away and then paced roughly for a distance.
BOUDICA - lay inwards rounding the final bend striking track markers. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have a laceration to the right front heel which was treated.
DANCE TILL DAWN - broke at the start losing ground.
HADRON COLLIDER - held up late in the run home.
TREACHEROUS GALL - tangled away and then broke briefly hampering a trailing runner.
AMERICAN ME - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
Race 11   IRT. YOUR HORSE. OUR PASSION. MOBILE TROT
SWITCH ON - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Over-raced early stages. Raced wide from the 700m.
ROYAL GRACE - weakened passing the 400m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
CLOVELLY HILL - weakened final bend.
ODINA - broke near the 150m losing its chance.
WATERLOO STATION - trotted roughly near the 1600m having to be steadied.
MAJOR DOOSIE - struck track markers leaving the final bend. Driver K Butt was issued a warning.
LOVE WALKED IN - out of position at the start. Driver G Thornley was issued a warning.
HOLLY HIGHLANDER - connections advised the mare would be racing in season. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home.
WHAT THE BELL - pre-race warmed. Connections advised the front shoes would be removed prior to the start. Broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on barrier record of the gelding.
Race 12   GOLD BAND TAXIS MOBILE PACE
MAJOR TOUCH - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1650m.
ROYAL BELLE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1650m.
VIN'S DEAL - broke near the 1650m hampering trailing runners losing ground.
BEAUDIENE ALWAYS B - held up early in the run home.
SWIFT MAJOR - raced wide from the 900m. Held up over the concluding stages.
FRANCO LOGAN - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver B Butt. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Weakened final bend.
STREET FIGHTER - when questioned regarding the performance driver T Williams advised he expected the gelding would derive benefit from the race which was its first start back from a spell.
SWIMMING POOLE - driver K Cameron was issued a warning for being late to arrive at the start area. Hung inwards over the concluding stages having to be straightened.
