| SOUTH BEACH - weakened from the 800m hampering trailing runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had suffered an atrial fibrillation. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance including the results of an ECG before completing one trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming. | |

| ACE OF SPADES - paced roughly over the concluding stages. | |
| BETTER KAST - broke after contacting the sulky wheel of ROCKY PACIFIC when being restrained and hanging outwards racing into the first bend losing ground. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 800m. Stewards questioned driver M Hill regarding the incident on the first bend, who advised the mare had got its tongue over the bit and proved difficult to restrain. After viewing the films and hearing from Mr Hill a warning was placed on the racing record of BETTER KAST. Mr Hill advised he would be recommending gear changes. | |

| DRAGONESS - broke in the early stages of the score up however was in position at the start. Over-raced and hung outwards in the early and middle stages. Weakened rounding the final bend. | |
| SUGAR BABE - when questioned regarding the performance driver C Dalgety advised he was disappointed and could offer no explanation. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days regarding the recovery of the filly. | |

| SARGENT BEST - driver M Williamson admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Williamson's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 21 September up to and including 1 October 2025, 3 days. | |

| MADRIK - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination due to not having raced for a considerable period of time and was cleared to start. Tangled away. Broke entering the first bend losing ground. Weakened final bend. | |
