Race 1   XMAS PACKAGES ON SALE NOW @CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY HCAP TROT
KC'S PRINCESS - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Authorisation of the promoted 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied KC'S PRINCESS had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
REAL MOONSHINE - broke passing the 1100m losing considerable ground. Broke again near the 500m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
KENNY HILL - broke near 120m and settled just short of the winning post. Stewards lodged a protest against this runner's 4th placing under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation in that the gelding broke for more than 50m inside the final 200m. Connections did not contest the protest and KENNY HILL was disqualified by the Stewards. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
Race 2   PIZZA AND BEER NIGHT IN SKYLINE LOUNGE 9TH OCT MOBILE PACE
GWENDOLINE MARY - slow early.
THE NIGHT FOX - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
COLIN MCBRIDE - weakened in the run home.
BENJAMIN BUTTON - over-raced after reaching the parked position after 300m and continued to over-race. Weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
Race 3   RDA FUNDRAISER IN SKYLINE LOUNGE 30TH OCT HANDICAP TROT
HIGHVIEW ROCKN ROLL - raced keenly middle stages. Broke near the 300m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
JOHNNY WHO - slow to begin.
KAIPAKI JACK - hampered by a breaking runner near the 300m.
Race 4   HARNESS HOEDOWN TICKETS ON SALE 25TH SEPT MOBILE PACE
LULANA - paced roughly rounding the final bend.
Race 5   GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND MOBILE PACE
DIXIELAND DELIGHT - broke in the score up but was in position at the candy pole.
ALWAYS B CHARLIE - raced wide early. Shifted out leaving the final bend having to be corrected by Driver P Ferguson.
Race 6   BLOKES NIGHT IN SKYLINE LOUNGE 18TH SEPT MOBILE PACE
BAILEYS PITCH - paced roughly on several occasions. Driver K Coppins advised the gelding had been striking a knee causing it to pace roughly.
I CAN TOO - over-raced when being restrained early.
INNOCENT MAN - over-raced when being restrained early. Continued to over-race for a distance in the early and middle stages.
BETTOR BE A LEGEND - weakened over the final 200m. When questioned regarding the performance Driver J Stormont advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation.
Race 7   WEDNESDAY QUIZ NIGHT AT THE CLUBHOUSE TROT
The start was delayed at the first attempt when the field had to be turned out of line due to the Starter not being satisfied with the manner in which the runners approached the barrier.
REWIRI HILL - lay inwards rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the run home. When questioned regarding the performance Driver M Ranger advised the gelding had lay inwards rounding the final turn causing her steering difficulties.
VERONICA JANE - began awkwardly.
COSMIC ANGEL - weakened final bend.
SONSOFTHEMERCH - began awkwardly. Broke approaching the 1800m losing all chance.
Top
