A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners. Driver S Abernethy advised that the colt had raced keenly after contacting its sulky wheel disc over the early stages. | |

When questioned regarding the performance Driver H Orange advised that the early pressure that he had received when holding the lead had taken its toll. | |
