Trainer A Swain advised Stewards on 4 September that STAR FROM HEAVEN has had its knees treated since last racing.
Race 8 - WOODLANDS STUD SOUTHERN SURGE SERIES FINAL MOBILE PACE
Junior driver D Anderson (MONTAGE), assisted by N Williamson, defended a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) alleging that he drove carelessly near the 1800m when shifting ground inwards checking TRENDY VAN GOGH (C Dalgety) which broke in consequence losing all chance. After viewing replays and hearing evidence from Mr Anderson, Mr Williamson, Mr Dalgety and the Stewards, the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and suspended Mr Anderson's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today, 4 September up to and including 9 October 2025, 6 days.

CRACKASKY - driver K Tomlinson was warned for crowding an inside runner racing into the first bend.

MONTAGE - paced roughly early in the run home.
THE BEACH HOUSE - held up final bend.
LASA - lay inwards throughout the run home.
DRAGONESS - hung outwards through the middle stages when leading.

SONNY JIM - held up throughout the run home.
MY BONNIE LASS - broke at the start losing all chance. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer B McIntyre.
OUR ROSE HILL - trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
BORN TO ROCK - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
MONARO MEDORA - held up final bend and the early and middle stages of the run home.
LADY WHISTLEDOWN - started wider on the track than its allocated Unruly barrier position crowding an outside runner. Junior driver T Dewe was warned for starting wider than his allocated barrier position. Raced wide early. Mr Dewe, who declined the assistance of a senior driver, admitted a charge under Rule 868(3) in that he failed to drive his runner out to the end of the race when there was a reasonable chance of finishing in 2nd placing. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Dewe's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today, 4 September up to and including 9 October 2025 (5 days).
GASHERBRUM - crowded by an inside runner prior to the start. Trotted roughly in the early stages losing ground. Forced to raced wide from the 700m. Again trotted roughly in the run home before breaking near the 100m losing all chance. Authorisation of placings was withheld until Stewards had spoken with driver H Douglas who confirmed his chances had not been affected when crowded prior to the start.
Race 4   WYNDHAM PIONEER LIONS CLUB MOBILE PACE
ABULL - weakened in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance driver R McIlwrick advised the gelding had to work too hard in the early stages and this had taken its toll.
VAN LIBERTY - weakened in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised he was disappointed and could offer no explanation.
SARGENT BEST - raced wide early. Held up final bend and until late in the run home.
ITSALLABOUTTHEMONEY - raced wide early before being restrained to the rear of the field near the 1800m. Held up throughout the run home. Driver C Dalgety reported he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
ROBYNS ART - held up final bend and until late in the run home. Cleared from the Unruly for future mobile starts.
Race 5   MACCA LODGE MOBILE PACE
SAUCY DELIGHT - when questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver C Ferguson advised that the gelding had become stirred up in the preliminary and this had taken its toll over the concluding stages of the race. Mr Ferguson added he was disappointed with the run and would now give consideration to sending SAUCY DELIGHT for a spell.
FOXING EASTON - over-raced middle stages.
SHARE A DREAM - broke passing the 600m after racing keenly, losing ground.
HACKSAW RIDGE - paced roughly passing the 300m when contacting the near side sulky wheel of FUSION REACTOR losing ground. Driver M Williamson was issued with a warning.
FUSION REACTOR - weakened final bend.
Race 6   MARSHALL EXCAVATING LTD MOBILE TROT
STYX JEWEL - trotted roughly in the run home. Driver W House reported he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
RUSH - trotted roughly in the run home.
JULIE JACCKA - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
BRING ON THE MUSCLE - broke near the 600m losing ground. Lay inwards final bend striking track markers. Authorisation of this runners 4th placing was withheld until the Stewards had viewed the footage and were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation when in a break near the 600m. Cleared from the Unruly for future mobile starts.
Race 7   CURIO BAY SALTHOUSE MOBILE PACE
PUTERE BOY - broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MR PRESIDENT - held up early stages of the run home.
STILLYOURSHOT - raced wide early.
FOREVER ARDEN - hampered shortly after the start by a breaking runner. Cleared from the Unruly for future mobile starts.
Race 8   CAMERON CONTRACTING HANDICAP TROT
TOP POCKET CHANCE - broke near the 300m losing all chance.
STELLA BAY - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer L Bond.
MARKTHEWARRIOR - when questioned regarding the perceived improved performance trainer B Norman advised that the gelding had benefitted from a drop in class and received a run to suit today.
POPNROCK - weakened leaving the final bend. Cleared from the Unruly for future standing starts.
