Race 1   SUPPORT NZ HORSE AMBULANCE WINTER APPEAL MOBILE PACE
DRAGON POWER - when questioned regarding the perceived improved performance trainer J Douglas advised the gelding had benefitted from the addition of blinds and he was not surprised by the run given the way DRAGON POWER had been working in the lead up.
SKY PATROL - lay in on the bends and again over the concluding stages having to be straightened by driver B Williamson.
Race 2   THANKS JOE & LU BAGRIE SUPPORTING NZ HORSE AMBULANCE TROT
SEBASTIAN STARK - broke passing the 1700m and shifted out locking wheels briefly with SONNY JIM near the 1600m, hampering trailing runners, losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
SONNY JIM - hampered when locking wheels with SEBASTIAN STARK briefly near the 1600m and broke in consequence losing ground.
WICKED ANNABELLA - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
MY BONNIE LASS - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
GARONNE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1600m. Weakened final bend.
Race 3   MACCA LODGE SUPPORTING NZ HORSE AMBULANCE MOBILE PACE
ENCHANTED LONNIE - paced roughly final bend.
DRAGONESS - lay out throughout the run home having to be corrected by driver R McIlwrick. Mr McIlwrick reported he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
MIND PHILLY - the blinds were removed prior to the start after the mare had warmed up unfavourably.
MIGHTY MIKI - over-raced middle stages.
ROBYN ROCKS HEAVEN - broke passing the 800m when becoming awkwardly placed on the sulky wheel of MIND PHILLY after a slight easing of the pace, losing its chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
Race 4   QUICKSILVERLODGE SUPPORTING NZ HORSE AMBULANCE HCP TROT
RANDEL HUSTON P - driver B Orange reported he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
ANDY HALL - cleared from the Unruly for future standing starts.
LIL WHIP - broke after 150m losing all chance.
Race 5   EQUINE SOUTH MASSAGE SUPPORTING N.Z.H.A.T. MOBILE PACE
TASHS BAD GIRL - hampered by a breaking runner near the 180m.
BOMBAY GLACIER - held up rounding the final bend and throughout the run home. Driver E Barron reported she did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
ABULL - raced wide until reaching the lead passing the 1500m. Lay out briefly entering the home straight placing an outside runner in restricted room. Driver R McIlwrick was warned for failing to maintain a straight course in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance of a favoured runner Mr McIlwrick advised that the gelding may have worked too hard in the early stages.
SHERWOOD MAGGIE - when questioned regarding the perceived improved performance trainer B Norman advised that the mare had benefitted from a drop in class and received a run to suit today.
KENSI - over-raced when being restrained to take cover near the 1600m. Contacted the sulky wheel of ABULL with its off hind leg near the 200m when placed in restricted room by that runner, then stumbled passing the 180m and broke hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
SUPERFAST - raced three wide with cover from the 1200m.
MONTAGE - paced roughly when being restrained to take cover shortly after the start. Raced wide final bend.
SEARING LIGHT - held up through the early and middle stages of the run home.
FRANCO HUNTINGTON - over-raced in the middle stages. Raced three wide without cover from the 1200m. Weakened in the run home.
ARTMORE - raced three wide with cover from the 750m.

STEP IT UP A NOTCH - over-raced through the middle stages.
ULTIMATE CULLECT - raced wide early before being restrained to take cover.
Race 7   MARK & DEBBIE SHIRLEY SUPPORTING NZ HORSE AMBULANCE TROT
MUSCLE MIST - tangled away. Broke rounding the first bend losing ground. Over-raced through the middle stages causing driver M Hill difficulty, then switched to pace near the 1000m and was eased down to return to its correct gait losing all chance.
ISOBEL - trotted roughly over the concluding stages and was unable to be fully driven out by driver B Williamson.
PENELOPE LANE - broke shortly after the start hampering an inside runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
KYLE LOCH - forced to race over track markers to avoid a breaking runner shortly after the start and trotted roughly in consequence losing ground.
STELLA BAY - cleared from the Unruly for future standing starts.
TO THE MOON AND BACK - raced greenly briefly near the 1850m.

JANAKA'S DELIGHT - raced wide without cover from the 900m.
RYLAN CHARLIE - held up throughout the run home. Driver H Douglas reported he did not activate the sliding blinds or removable deafeners in consequence.
JENNY GUMP - raced wide with cover from the 900m.
AIRWAVES - over-raced through the middle stages.
BOWLEM OVER - retired from the race near the 1500m by driver K Green who reported the gelding to have made abnormal breathing noises. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with trainer R Swain in the coming days.
HAZER - over-raced in the early and middle stages. Raced wide with cover from the 900m.
Trainer R Swain advised Stewards on 8 September that BOWLEM OVER had recovered well and would continue in its current preparation.
