| ANDRETTI(AUS) - when questioned about his perceived lack of vigour over the concluding stages driver A Poutama advised that the gelding had run its race by the latter stages and he was disappointed with the effort. He further added that he was placed in restricted room near the finishing line. After considering his explanation and viewing all available replays Stewards took the matter no further other than to remind Mr Poutama of his obligations as a driver to drive his horse out to the finish line. | |

| THE FOUR ACES - trainer G Rogerson was issued a warning for failing to have the correct colours available. Hampered and broke near the 1400m losing considerable ground. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the colt had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation. | |
| TE AHI - broke near the 1500m losing considerable ground. Broke again near the 450m losing further ground. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages. | |
| SOMEBODY - Stewards approved a late gear notification of the addition of removable deafeners. Broke after 150m losing considerable ground. | |

A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days. | |
