Race 1   BOOK YOUR CHRISTMAS PARTY @ ALEXANDRA PARK MOBILE PACE
CLOUDING OVER - held up leaving the final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
ALLETS - weakened in the run home.
BRUNTWOOD BRIGADE - over-raced middle stages.
Race 2   www.alexandrapark.co.nz HANDICAP TROT
BRIENNE - weakened then placed in restricted room over the concluding stages when horses either side shifted in and broke in consequence.
SASSY STAR - lay in contacting track markers first bend then trotted roughly and broke near the 1650m losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
STONE COLD - shifted out under pressure placing outside horse in restricted room over the concluding stages.
YUROK - began awkwardly.
MAD MARY - shifted in under pressure placing inside horse in restricted room over the concluding stages.
MANCHESTER'S MOMENT - weakened in the run home. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Race 3   ITALIAN NIGHT FRI 3 OCT AT ALEX PARK MOBILE PACE
SWEET MAGGIE MAE - raced greenly when leading near the 1500m.
ANDRETTI(AUS) - when questioned about his perceived lack of vigour over the concluding stages driver A Poutama advised that the gelding had run its race by the latter stages and he was disappointed with the effort. He further added that he was placed in restricted room near the finishing line. After considering his explanation and viewing all available replays Stewards took the matter no further other than to remind Mr Poutama of his obligations as a driver to drive his horse out to the finish line.
Race 4   THE ALEX BAR & EATERY 2YO MOBILE TROT
The race programme was put back two races due to lightning strikes at the track and nearby with Race 4 staring at 8.06pm.
THE FOUR ACES - trainer G Rogerson was issued a warning for failing to have the correct colours available. Hampered and broke near the 1400m losing considerable ground. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the colt had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
TE AHI - broke near the 1500m losing considerable ground. Broke again near the 450m losing further ground. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
SOMEBODY - Stewards approved a late gear notification of the addition of removable deafeners. Broke after 150m losing considerable ground.
YEAH NAH - trainer G Rogerson was issued a warning for failing to have the correct colours available.
REDPARK WARRIOR - broke near the 1500m hampering a trailing runner losing considerable ground. Authorisation of 1st placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
Race 5   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS SIRES STAKES HEAT 1 2YOF MOBILE PACE
COOL FOR CATS - raced wide from the 900m.
ANGELIC COPY - held up throughout the run home.
OLYMPIC KO - raced wide early. Held up leaving the final bend and early stages of the run home.
GILDA - raced wide throughout.
ATOMIC - raced wide early. Lay in near the 500m.
WAR CRY - raced wide early.
LINCOLN LINDA - slow to leave pre-race formation and was back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Lay in and raced over track markers near the 1200m. Weakened from the 900m. When questioned regarding the performance driver M McKendry advised that he had difficulty steering the filly throughout the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
RIVERGIRL BELLA - raced wide from the 950m.
BOOTY SHAKER - raced wide from the 1200m.
LINCOLN LINDA - connections advised on 3rd September blood tests had been taken which failed to detect any abnormality and it was their intention to continue with the filly's current preparation.
Race 6   THANK YOU TO THE ATC STEWARDS HANDICAP PACE
A false start was declared at the first attempt when SEMBA breasted the front barrier strand with the tape failing to clear the legs of BETA PREPARE. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
SEMBA - lay in contacting several track markers near the 1250m. When questioned regarding the improved performance co-trainer S Telfer advised the gelding had received a run to suit tonight and was not surprised at the result.
BETA PREPARE - briefly paced roughly near the 300m.
TWISTA - paced roughly early stages.
Race 7   SPRING CUP NIGHT - FRIDAY 19 SEPTEMBER HANDICAP TROT
CASTANA - tangled away.
EYRE I WILL - tangled away.
KISS AND RUN - weakened in the run home.
ROMEO FOXTROT - held up leaving the final bend and early stages of the run home. Lay in near the 1300m.
LORD POPINJAY - lay in near the 1800m contacting and dislodging a track marker.
Race 8   BECOME A MEMBER AT ATC - 1 WIN MOBILE PACE
GOTTA GO MIKI - lay in on the bend near the 900m contacting several track markers.
CALORIEFREE - over-raced middle stages.
ANOTHER COLLECT - lay in shortly after the start. Broke briefly final bend losing ground. When questioned regarding the performance driver H Orange advised the gelding had struck a knee causing it to break.
Race 9   CLASSIQUE LANDSCAPERS TROT
PROHIBITION - fractious prior to the start then broke losing all chance.
HAPPY HILL - pre-race warmed. Briefly hampered at the start by an outside runner.
MEMORIES - swung sideways as the tapes were released hampering HAPPY HILL. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver T Macfarlane reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
SUNNY'S LEGACY - broke at the start losing all chance.
ROYAL PETITE - weakened near the 400m hampering a trailing runner.
IM A ROCKSTAR - hampered by a weakening runner near the 400m. Trotted roughly in the run home and was unable to be fully driven out by driver E Johnson.
