Co-Trainer S Telfer advised Stewards on 19 August that blood tests taken from SEMBA following its disappointing performance had come back clear with the gelding having been freshened prior to resuming.

Race 1   NZMCA PARKING AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
ALWAYS B MISTY - weakened leaving the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dickie advised that he was not disappointed with the effort considering that it is her first start back from a spell and he expects the filly to derive benefit from the race.
VINCENTS GIRL - weakened leaving the final bend.
WOTSONYAMIND - raced wide early. Attempted to improve wide passing the 1200m before being restrained to the rear of the field near the 900m when unsuccessful in obtaining the parked position. Paced roughly final bend.
Race 2   FRIDAY STEAK NITE @ THE CLUBHOUSE WINTER REWARDS HCP TROT
WHATEVER IT TAKES - broke briefly at the start. Lay outwards during the middle stages. Locked wheels with REWIRI HILL near the 300m when forcing that runner wider on the track.
BAFFLED - broke at the start and shifted outwards checking outside runners losing considerable ground. Weakened final bend. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the trainer's request.
BANGKOK BETTY - checked and broke at the start losing considerable ground. Broke rounding the final bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
PRESIDENT FLYNNTIN - checked by an inside runner at the start and had to shift wider on the track. Broke rounding the first bend losing considerable ground.
EAGLE HANOVER - driver J Abernethy was warned for half carting for a distance passing the 1200m.
SONSOFTHEMERCH - weakened final bend and hung inwards striking several track markers which were dislodged despite the efforts of driver N Chilcott. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
TRIFOLIUM - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Weakened rounding the final bend before trotting roughly when racing over a dislodged track marker near the 300m.
REWIRI HILL - broke after locking wheels with WHATEVER IT TAKES when being shifted wider on the track near the 400m losing all chance. When questioned driver M Ranger advised that the gelding had lay in near the 400m causing her some difficulty then broke in consequence.
BOSS JO - broke after 100m losing considerable ground. Broke again rounding the final bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
Race 3   GET HARNESS HOEDOWN TICKETS NOW -25TH SEPT MOBILE PACE
ALWAYS B SWEET - crowded at the start by an outside runner. Hampered by an inside runner when being shifted outwards near the 200m.
TUAREG - hung inwards at the start crowding inside runners despite the efforts of driver C Hackett.
LOVEABLE ROGUE - raced wide early.
MAKORORI - driver N Chilcott was warned to exercise greater care when shifting ground near the 200m.
SOME DON'T - crowded at the start by an outside runner. Weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
STELLA CARLIN - paced roughly at various stages throughout. Weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Race 4   GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND WINTER REWARDS MOBILE PACE
WALTZING WITH MIKI - hung inwards at various stages. Raced wide without cover from the 1100m. Weakened final bend.
CHANGE TACT - raced wide early.
PROVISEUR - over-raced middle stages. Held up until late in the run home.
ALWAYS B CHARLIE - raced wide early. Raced wide with cover from the 1100m.
SECRETS ABOUND - hung outwards and paced roughly shortly after the start having to be steadied losing ground. Again paced roughly on several occasions before losing contact with the body of the field passing the 1000m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding.
DIXIELAND DELIGHT - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
IRISH WHISPERS - hung inwards at various stages. Raced wide with cover from the 1100m. Weakened final bend.
BETTOR REACTION - raced wide early and middle stages. Weakened final bend.

ITMUSCLEBELOVE - fractious prior to the start. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 200m.
KEEP IT KLASSY - broke rounding the first bend and struck several track markers losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
VORONOV - hampered by a breaking runner near the 200m.
SANS AU REVOIR - raced wide throughout. Weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the manner in which she drove during the running driver K Coppins advised that after racing wide through the early stages she was aware the parked position was not available so she attempted to restrain her runner to the rear of the field however the mare had commenced to over-race causing her difficulty. After hearing from Miss Coppins Stewards took the matter no further.
SANTAPAZIENZA - raced wide early. Broke early in the run home hampering trailing runners and failed to settle losing all chance.
KAIPAKI JACK - fractious prior to the start.
MAKAKU - broke near the 1300m losing considerable ground. Hung inwards final bend striking several track markers. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
DRAGONSTONE - raced wide early and middle stages. Weakened from the 600m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
HUGHIE WALLACE - lay in and contacted a track marker near the 1200m.
Race 6   BLOKES NITE SKYLINE LOUNGE, 18 SEPT WINTER REWARDS MOB PACE
I CAN TOO - held up throughout the run home.
MARIA KIRILENKO - lay inwards near the 1800m striking a track marker which was dislodged.
BAILEYS PITCH - over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend. Driver J Stormont advised he sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 750m.
AQUILA - when questioned regarding the improved performance Trainer Z Meredith advised the mare had appreciated change of training regime and received an economical run throughout.
KATIES PRINCESS - raced wide early.
MARY MAGDALENE - weakened final bend.
MICK KONSTANTIN - raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages.
CONRAD H - over-raced middle stages.
GWENDOLINE MARY - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home. Junior driver K Coppins, assisted by senior driver T Mitchell, admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly near the 750m by allowing her horse to strike the sulky wheel of BAILEYS PITCH resulting in the tyre being punctured. After viewing the replays and hearing the submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250.
Race 7   HIRE A VENUE AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
ALWAYSBESECRET - weakened final bend.
DEAR GOD - hung inwards throughout. Over-raced middle stages.
INNOCENT MAN - Stewards questioned trainer R Frampton regarding the improved performance of the gelding . He stated that the horse had been racing well but was unlucky during the running in recent races . And in this race the horse was handy and made good use of the passing lane .
