| There was an error in some race day publications which showed ALWAYS DREAMING in Race 9 as both #6 and #9 with this being corrected and the information disseminated through the appropriate channels. Pre-race blood testing was carried out. A random selection of drivers underwent pre-race alcohol breath testing with all providing clear samples. |

| Prior to the authorisation of placings, Stewards spoke with Starter Mr N Popham regarding the start. After hearing from Mr Popham and viewing the replays it was established that JAY BEE HILL had not breached the barrier strand with all placings being duly authorised. | |

After speaking with drivers S Walkinshaw and C Ferguson (NYLA) it was established that both horses had moved inwards simultaneously to take the same run with Mr Ferguson's horse being slow to respond when being restrained resulting in his runner being placed in restrcted room. Driver S Walkinshaw was warned to exercise greater care after shifting ground outwards leaving the final bend briefly placing outside runners in restricted room. When questioned regarding the apparent improved performance trainer D McLachlan advised the mare performs best when saved for one run as it was today. | |

Mr Williamson further stated that he elected not to shift ground near the 1000m when the opportunity existed as the runner he would have been following had been trotting roughly and he was concerned it may have broken as a consequence. | |
