Race 1   DIAMOND CREEK / SBSR SOUTHERN SURGE SERIES TROT
MAJIC N THE PORT - driver B Barclay reported a sulky tyre had deflated near the 600m.
SIX O'CLOCK GERRY - broke near the 900m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
OUR ROSE HILL - driver A Black was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion and in a continuous manner in the run home.
RANGITATA - raced wide early.
TICKTOCK MCGLAUGHLIN - crowded by an outside runner at the start. Over-raced early then broke approaching the 1650m and refused to settle losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
JAY BEE HILL - driver B Wallace was warned for the manner he drove at the start when crowding an inside runner. Mr Wallace was also warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
THE LAST MCGUIRE - weakened final bend.
WHAT'S THE WHISPER - driver P Williamson reported the gelding had hung inwards rounding the final bend and in the run home causing him difficulty, adding he was unable to drive the gelding out fully in consequence.
LADY WHISTLEDOWN - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.

Race 2   DIAMOND CREEK / SBSR SOUTHERN SURGE SERIES MOBILE PACE
The start was delayed due to OUR TWINKLE requiring farrier attention with both front shoes being removed.
OUR TWINKLE - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. Hung inwards late in the run home causing driver N Williamson some difficulty.
DONALD TROT - trainer C Laurenson was issued with a warning for being late to present the gelding on course.
ACE OF SPADES - paced roughly late in the run home.
ROBYN ROCKS HEAVEN - co-trainers R & C Wilson were issued with a warning for being late to notify the gelding would race with blinds on. Broke in the score up losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile starts at the request of co-trainer R Wilson.
COSMIC STAR - out of position at the start. Hung inwards throughout the run home.
RAKAMICK - out of position at the start.
SHERGAR - out of position at the start.
Following the race Starter B Ward advised Stewards that the accelerator on the mobile had jammed resulting in the speed of the mobile late in the score up being faster than desired. Mr Ward advised the mobile would be tested prior to Race 3 to rectify the issue.
Race 3   DIAMOND CREEK / SBSR SOUTHERN SURGE SERIES MOBILE PACE
LIBBIE QWANTERROS - weakened final bend.
MIND PHILLY - raced wide early. Held up early in the run home.
HUNGRY BRONNIE - raced wide early. Held up early in the run home.

Race 4   HOSPITALITY OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE WDC MOBILE PACE
GOMA DALE - paced roughly racing into the first bend. Over-raced middle stages. Broke leaving the final bend hampering a trailing runner and cast a bell boot. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
ITSALLABOUTTHEMONEY - raced wide early. Hampered by a breaking runner leaving the final bend.
DRAGON POWER - late scratching at 10.30am on veterinary advice.
RISE UP N DANCE - raced wide in the early stages. Hung inwards early in the run home and had to be corrected by driver N Williamson. When questioned regarding the performance, Mr Williamson advised that the tempo of the race made it difficult to make ground and with no established three wide line, he was unable to improve his position prior to the final bend. Mr Williamson added that despite this he was pleased with the manner in which the gelding had finished the race off.
THE WULVER - raced wide early until being restrained to the rear of the field near the 1100m.
GOORAMBAT ART - raced wide early.
JANAKA'S DELIGHT - raced wide early.
FOREVER ARDEN - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
Race 5   DIAMOND CREEK / SBSR SOUTHERN SURGE SERIES MOBILE PACE
SAUCY DELIGHT - shifted outwards leaving the final bend. Trainer/driver C Ferguson advised that the gelding had hung outwards in the run home and he would be making gear changes prior to the horse racing next. Notwithstanding this Mr Ferguson was advised to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home.
JACCKA HENRY - held up leaving the final bend.
DIAMONDSONMYSHOES - raced wide early.
HERE'S JOHNY - raced wide early. Became awkwardly placed close to the sulky of ABULL near the 1100m after a slight easing of the pace. Paced roughly near the 1000m.
TRENDY VAN GOGH - raced wide early.
MONTAGE - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 800m.
BUBBLE ME - raced wide early.
ALWAYS B ROYAL - raced wide throughout.
HE'S NO ROMEO - became awkwardly placed close to the sulky of HERE'S JOHNY near the 1100m after a slight easing of the pace. Raced wide with cover from the 1050m.

Race 6   DIAMOND CREEK / SBSR SOUTHERN SURGE SERIES HANDICAP TROT
PENELOPE LANE - fractious prior to the start. Broke racing into the first bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
KYLE LOCH - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.
OUR SUPERFUND - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.
CLOTILDE WAINWRIGHT - Driver N Williamson reported he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
BILL BOOTIT - placed in restricted room for a short distance near the 450m when attempting a run between MUSCLE MIST and TARRAGINDI which had both shifted ground marginally. Hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.
SPIRITINTHESKY - broke shortly after the start losing ground.
POPNROCK - held up early in the run home.
ERROL D - broke after 100m losing ground. Trotted roughly through the middle stages.
TARRAGINDI - broke briefly rounding the final bend. Lay inwards when being shifted wider on the track by CLOTILDE WAINWRIGHT passing the 600m resulting in the gelding contacting the sulky of that runner despite the efforts of driver P Williamson with the horse trotting roughly for a short distance. Again lay inwards leaving the final bend.
DOWNTOWN ORLANDO - broke when under pressure rounding the final bend hampering trailing runners and losing all chance with driver C Ferguson shifting the gelding inside the marker line to avoid trailing runners.
Race 7   SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE WDC MOBILE PACE
HE'S TOUGH - driver B Williamson was warned to exercise greater care when shifting ground outwards near the 300m which briefly hampered outside runners.
SARGENT BEST - raced wide early. Weakened final bend.
ARTMORE - trainer T Dewe was issued with a warning for presenting the mare without the notified anti-choke device. Raced wide early. Held up rounding the final bend. Paced roughly in the run home.
TASHS BAD GIRL - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver N Kyle. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Raced wide early.
SUPERFAST - raced wide early. Placed in restricted room near the 300m when an inside runner shifted ground outwards.
TEN DA TOUCH - raced wide early. Paced roughly near the 300m when being shifted wider on the track by an inside runner.
MAGIC SIGN - hampered near the 300m when being shifted wider on the track by an inside runner.
SEARING LIGHT - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room early in the run home.
BOMBAY GLACIER - cleared from the Unruly for future mobile starts.

SUPER FUND - hampered by a weakening runner rounding the final bend.
SODOYAHAVTIME - hampered by a weakening runner rounding the final bend.
DARE DEVIL - held up in the early and middle stages of the run home.
RIGHTAZZ - raced wide early. Held up leaving the final bend. Driver A Black admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a suspension of Mr Black's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 10 August up to and including 4 September 2025 (3 days).

STUNNA - weakened leaving the final bend hampering trailing runners.

MALLORY MAGUIRE - raced wide throughout. Weakened in the run home.
JAYAR MAC - late scratching at 5.36pm on 2 August acting on veterinary advice. Trainer C Ferguson was issued with a $200 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to scratch this runner by the prescribed time.
JACCKA EVAN - hampered by a weakening runner rounding the final bend. Held up throughout the run home. Driver D Anderson reported he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
PASSCHENDAELE - raced wide throughout. Weakened in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver N Williamson advised that the gelding had over-raced with the effort taking its toll.
Race 9   DIAMOND CREEK / SBSR SOUTHERN SURGES SERIES MOBILE PACE
SHARE A DREAM - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Driver M Hurrell reported he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
BOWLEM OVER - hung inwards late in the run home crowding an inside runner.
STILLYOURSHOT - raced wide early.
DOUBLE QUICK - pre-race warmed. Raced three wide in the early stages before being forced to race four wide passing the 1000m. Weakened leaving the final bend.
FOXFIRE EASTON - raced wide with cover throughout.
AINT NO ANGEL - raced wide early. Held up throughout the run home.

TUA LIPA - paced roughly in the run home. Struck a track marker over the concluding stages when placed in restricted room.

Race 10   DIAMOND CREEK / SBSR SOUTHERN SURGE SERIES HANDICAP TROT
There was a delay to the start when Starter B Ward was not satisfied with the manner runners had addressed the barrier with the field being turned away.
MIXED FAITH - raced wide early. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home.
OUR PINOCCHIO - slow to begin.
ANDY HALL - slow to begin.
MISSILE - trotted roughly final bend and in the run home.
Race 11   WDC COMING TO WINTON IN NOVEMBER MOBILE PACE
MAGNETIC BECKERS - hung outwards in the run home before breaking near the 100 metres losing its chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
STEP IT UP A NOTCH - raced wide early. Weakened final bend. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the gelding to have suffered an atrial fibrillation. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance including the results of an ECG before completing one trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
BOBBIES ROCK - out of position at the start. Driver K Green was issued with a warning. Held up leaving the final bend. Hampered by a breaking runner in the run home. Ms Green reported she did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
TABASCO - raced wide early.
