Driver S Abernethy did not attend tonight's meeting due to being unwell and was replaced on his engagements as per the Summary.

Due to the incident resulting in the stoppage of Race 4, the re-run and remainder of the programme was rescheduled as below.

Race 1   GAVELHOUSE.COM MOBILE PACE
ADJOURNMENT - shifted wider on the final turn and early stages of the run home before being corrected. Driver F Phelan was shown the replays and spoken to advisedly.
RIVERBOY BEN - Driver J Brownlee advised that the deafeners had failed to activate despite his efforts.
SAYS WHO - Driver K Hall admitted a breach of the Push Out Rule in that he shifted his gelding outwards near the 1200m forcing LUKAKU to race wider on the track. After viewing the replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200.
LUKAKU - forced wider on the track near the 1200m.
Race 2   WDC COMING TO NZ IN NOVEMBER HANDICAP TROT
PRESIDENT FLYNNTIN - lay in rounding the turns.
RUN FOREST RUN - reluctant to come forward on to the front barrier prior to the start and was wide on the track when the barriers were released. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the request of Co-Trainer L Neal.
ALL MUSCLED UP - shifted out shortly after the start and was slow early.
KEEP IT KLASSY - lay in contacting a track marker near the 1750m. Continued to lay in rounding the turns.
MANCHESTER IN TIME - raced wide from the 1000m before commencing to weaken near the 500m. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed no significant abnormality.
Race 3   TFS HORSE TRANSPORT MOBILE PACE
CONRAD H - shifted in under pressure passing the 50m having to be corrected and lost some momentum as a result.
REET PETITE - shifted out early in the run home when Driver J Abernethy activated the deafeners but was immediately corrected. When questioned regarding the performance Mr Abernethy stated that the filly had failed to respond when asked for an effort in the run home.
EYES TO HEAVEN - weakened in the run home.
INNOCENT MAN - broke late in the score up losing all chance and was retired from the event. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
SAVARNA - Junior Driver J Dunn was issued with a warning for using his whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
BAILEYS PITCH - late scratching on Veterinary advice at 7.47am.
Race 4   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS MOBILE PACE
The race was stopped by Stewards acting under to Rule 211(A)(1)&(2) after DREAMS OF ERIC shied and broke shortly after the start before falling to the track severely checking IRISH WHISPERS, NELSON'S BOY and FRANCO MIKI with driver D Butcher being tipped from the sulky. DREAMS OF ERIC was immediately attended to by the on course Veterinarian before being transported from the track via the Horse Ambulance. The colt underwent a further examination which revealed superficial abrasions to both knees and the near hind. DREAMS OF ERIC was subsequently stood down pending a satisfactory trial and a veterinary clearance before resuming. FRANCO MIKI also underwent a Veterinary examination which revealed a small laceration to the off fore. Driver A Poutama (DREAMS OF ERIC) was attended to by St John Ambulance staff before being transported to Waikato Hospital for further assessment. Driver D Butcher was examined by St John Ambulance staff and cleared of any significant injury. Stewards directed that the event be re-run following the late scratchings of FRANCO MIKI and DREAMS OF ERIC on veterinary advice given that the race had been stopped within the first 1000m with all remaining runners undergoing Veterinary examinations and being cleared to start.
JACCKA OPA - held up late in the run home.
IRISH WHISPERS - lay in noticeably rounding the turn approaching the 800m.
NELSON'S BOY - paced roughly then broke near the 300m losing its chance. Stewards extended leniency given the delay.
Race 5   FIELDLINE HORSE FLOATS MOBILE PACE
TIGER SHIRL - held up final turn.
S S GUPPY - paced roughly shortly after the start losing ground. Continued to pace roughly at various stages. Shifted three wide near the 900m then four wide from the 700m.
ANN FRANK - weakened leaving the final turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormality.
Race 6   WEDNESDAY QUIZ NIGHT AT THE CLUBHOUSE HANDICAP TROT
WIND OF CHANGE - lay in and raced over several track markers rounding the final turn when in restricted room to the inside of BAFFLED which also lay in.
SAXON REIGNS - broke near the 200m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
COSMIC ANGEL - driver L Hibell reported that a sulky tyre deflated during the middle stages.
ROYAL SECRET - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A final warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
