The track was downgraded to Easy following the running of Race 3 with trainers being advised to affix mudguards to their sulkies.

Race 7 - TFS HORSE TRANSPORT MOBILE PACE
Co-Trainer S Telfer advised Stewards on 16 July that SECRETS ABOUND has recovered well and will continue its preparation.
Race 8 - MID WINTER XMAS TICKETS ON SALE NOW MOBILE PACE
Driver J Stormont (STICK WITH ME) defended a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations alleging that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Stormont the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and Mr Stormont's driver's licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing on 17 July up to and including the 31 July 2025 (3 days).

Race 1   CHRISTMAS AT THE RACEWAY TICKETS ON SALE HANDICAP TROT
The start was delayed due to an issue with the photo finish.
ROYAL SECRET - required assistance from a Starting Attendant prior to the start and then became fractious causing a delay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MASS DISRUPTION - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the trainer's request.
RUN FOREST RUN - trotted roughly near the 100m.
COSMIC ANGEL - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Weakened final bend.
SONSOFTHEMERCH - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
Race 2   MVS EQUINE HOSPITAL MOBILE PACE
AMARETTO DELIGHT - lay inwards on several occasions in the run home having to be straightened by driver N Chilcott.
MISS WOODVILLE - over-raced early and middle stages. Driver A Pyres had difficulty activating the deafeners in the home straight .
Race 3   ADVANTAGE TYRES MOBILE PACE
AQUILA - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
SAVARNA - held up throughout the run home.
GOTTA GO MIKI - broke near the 150m losing its chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. Stewards questioned drivers C Hackett (DELIGHTFUL CHIC) and L Hollis (GOTTA GO MIKI) regarding a possible breach of the Push Out Rule near the 1200m. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from both drivers, Stewards were satisfied that when driver L Hollis shifted outwards, a full run was available to the inside of DELIGHTFUL CHIC, as this runner was already racing in a three-wide position. Consequently, no further action was taken.
DELIGHTFUL CHIC - lay outwards near the 1200m.
Following this race the track was downgraded to Easy.
Race 4   HOLMES & CO FAMILY SILK RD NORTHERN MARES HT2 MOB TROT
NIAMH - broke near the 1200m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
BANGKOK BETTY - broke when racing into the first bend losing all chance.
SASSY STAR - lay inwards and broke rounding the final bend losing all chance.
THE MOONSTONE - broke racing into the first bend hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
EMILY BAY - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
MAJESTIC BUNDY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1200m. Cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.
Race 5   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS MOBILE PACE
JACCKA OPA - held up late in the run home.
ALWAYS B CHARLIE - late scratching at 8.03am on veterinary advice.
PROVISEUR - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
HERB - over-raced middle stages when racing in the parked position.
Race 6   ACCOUNTED 4 TAX TIME MOBILE PACE
BENSON DUDE - weakened rounding the final bend hampering a trailing runner.
BAILEYS PITCH - over-raced early and middle stages.
TUGAWAR - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
OHOKA ACHILLES - over-raced early stages.
Race 7   TFS HORSE TRANSPORT HANDICAP TROT
KAWARAU LIL - late scratching at 9.18am on veterinary advice.
HIGHVIEW ROCKN ROLL - broke for a considerable distance racing into the first bend losing all chance and was retired from the race. A protest was lodged against 4th placing being awarded under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging the mare had broken in excess of 150m. Connections did not contest the protest and HIGHVIEW ROCKN ROLL was disqualified by Stewards. Junior Driver E Johnson was spoken to for the manner in which she retired the mare from the race. A warning was placed on the racing manners of the mare.
