Race 1   AOTEAROA GAMING TRUST TROT
LOOKSLIKEAGANGSTER - hung inwards on several occasions in the run home.
UNICO TEDACIOUS - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MOUNT THOMAS - had to be steadied near the 450m when there was a slight easing of the pace.
MONARO MEDORA - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
MUSCLE DASH - held up early in the run home. Trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
ALL CONQUERED - required assistance from the Clerk of the Course to complete its preliminary. Continued to receive assistance from the Clerk of the Course prior to the start and refused to begin taking no part in the race. Declared a non-runner by Stewards under Rule 213(1)(e) due to unsatisfactory manners prior to the start. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a standing start prior to resuming.

VERDUCCI - held up leaving the final bend.
SMOOTH SCOOB - held up early in the run home. Driver S Tomlinson advised she was unable to activate the sliding blinds due to the cord becoming entangled.

DRAGONHILL - broke after 100m hampering a trailing runner losing ground.

VESTA - raced wide early. Hung outwards rounding the final bend when placed under pressure. Held up throughout the run home.

NORMIE STEAD - weakened final bend hampering trailing runners.
WATERHOLES ROAD - raced wide early. Weakened from the 700m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer B Negus advised he would consider sending the gelding for a spell.
SHAPELY - raced wide from the 700m.
SWEET DREAMS - held up by a weakening runner final bend.
IVONA DADIC - raced wide early.
RAKNRUIN - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
SIR MONTY - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
MY TEN GUITARS - held up throughout the run home. Driver C Thornley advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
MAGICAL MAX - fractious prior to the start requiring assistance from a Starting Attendant. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Over-raced early stages.
Race 5   "REMEMBERING GILLY"-THE MAIN STREET SPORTS BAR, MOBILE PACE
MAJOR HAPPY - checked by a breaking runner rounding the final bend losing ground.
GEM N EM - checked by a breaking runner rounding the final bend losing ground.
TROUBLESHOOTER - broke rounding the final bend checking trailing runners losing its chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
SOPHIA BROMAC - pre-race warmed. Checked by a breaking runner rounding the final bend losing ground.

PETITE TRIXTON - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
