Race 1   BOOK NOW FOR THAI NIGHT AT ALEX PARK 29 AUG MOBILE PACE
LEO LINCOLN - over-raced middle stages. Paced roughly rounding the final turn.
BETA PREPARE - over-raced middle stages.
MANTRA BLUE - shifted outwards leaving the final turn when Driver M Ranger activated the removable deafeners. Ms Ranger was spoken to advisedly.
Race 2   DUNSTAN SPEEDFEED HANDICAP TROT
MARO MACKENDON - broke at the start and shifted in hampering a trailing runner losing ground.
YA EEJIT YA - Trainer S McCaffrey was charged a $25 colour fee. Broke at the start losing ground.
CASTANA - held up throughout the run home. Driver T Hanara reported that she did not activate the removable deafeners as a result.
BOLT FOR THE HILL - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Driver S Burley was warned for using her whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
KEEP IT KLASSY - trotted roughly near the 1100m losing ground. Lost further ground near the 800m and trailed the field thereafter. A post-race veterinary examination revealed lameness in the near hind. Stood down pending a Veterinary clearance.
Race 3   ALABAR MOBILE PACE
LINCOLN DOWNS - weakened early in the run home.
LINCOLN'S SPICE - paced roughly rounding the first turn having to be steadied. Weakened leaving the final turn. When questioned regarding the performance Driver Z Butcher stated that the filly had been required to work hard to find the lead and was then taken on down the back straight the final time which took its toll.
CRAFTSMAN - paced roughly near the 500m when improving wide.
AMERICAN FALCON - paced roughly near the 100m when shifting ground inwards to obtain clear running and had to be steadied.
Race 4   BORDER FENCING SERVICES HANDICAP TROT
The start was delayed due to LOTERIA becoming fractious in the pre-race formation and was sent to the outside of the unruly. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners. The start was further delayed when BERTHA'S PRIDE and SANTAPAZIENZA became fractious.
PIRAYAS - stood on the mark checking trailing runners losing all chance and was retired from the event. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Driver T Hanara was examined by St John Personnel after being contacted by a trailing runner shortly after the start and was cleared of injury.
MAD MARY - stood on the mark and was slow to begin losing all chance before being retired from the event.
MANCHESTER'S MOMENT - hung outwards and shifted up the track leaving the final turn before laying out further in the run home.
BERTHA'S PRIDE - checked and broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
LOTERIA - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
SANTAPAZIENZA - checked shortly after the start briefly unbalancing Driver R Downey in his sulky.
HAYLEY MHOR - broke near the 1150m losing all chance.
BROTHER JOHNSON - severely checked shortly after the start and made heavy contact with the sulky of PIRAYAS losing all chance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the off fore which was treated.
CYCLONE SALA - checked shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
Race 5   SOUTHERN CROSS PARTNERS MOBILE PACE
TYSON - hung inwards in the run home when Driver Z Butcher unsuccessfully attempted to shift wider on the track resulting in the colt being held up for clear racing room.
MURTLE THE TURTLE - held up late in the run home.
JOHNNY LINCOLN - raced wide early before being restrained to the rear. Over-raced middle stages. Raced four wide from the 600m.
BENJAMIN BUTTON - lay in rounding the first turn contacting track markers with one being dislodged. Over-raced middle stages. Lay in near the 850m contacting a further track marker.
DOMINUS - held up over the concluding stages.
I CAN TOO - over-raced early and middle stages. Lay in near the 850m contacting a track marker.
HAWKEYE PIERCE - the offside blind became detached during the running.
Race 6   WOODLANDS STUD SILK ROAD NORTHERN F&M FINAL MOB PACE
ULTIMATE RACY GIRL - Driver Z Butcher was warned for using his whip with his foot free of the footrest near the 300m. Mr Butcher reported that he had dropped his whip late in the run home. When questioned regarding the mare's performance Mr Butcher advised that after racing three wide with cover from the 600m he had been unable to make up ground with the fast closing sectional.
MINJEE - over-raced middle stages. Held up early in the run home.
MHAI SURFER GIRL - Driver M White was warned for coming to the mobile barrier out of position.
WICKED WANDA - raced wide early stages. Over-raced middle stages. Driver T Mitchell was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to activate the hopple shorteners.
SEACLUSION - raced wide early stages.
Race 7   THANKS TO THE MAGNESS TEAM HANDICAP TROT
FEARLESS - trotted roughly in the early stages. Driver S Wigg advised that the removable deafeners failed to release despite her efforts.
ROMEO FOXTROT - lay in rounding the turns. Driver Z Butcher advised that he would be recommending a gear change prior to the gelding resuming. Mr Butcher was warned for half carting for a distance passing the 1200m.
BELLE NEIGE - broke at the start losing all chance.
Race 8   AUCKLAND CO-OP TAXIS 300-3000 MOBILE PACE
THE RASCAL - paced roughly rounding the first turn having to be steadied. Held up early final turn.
TWO JULES - lay in rounding the final turn.
BETTOR BE A LEGEND - over-raced middle stages.
ABMAN - over-raced middle stages when being restrained to attempt to take up a position at the rear.
