Race 1   TAB 2ND & 3RD BONUS CASH BACK MOBILE PACE
WUHAN - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
CHEER THE CAPTAIN - hung inwards late in the run home crowding an inside runner. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Chmiel advised he was disappointed with the effort and was unable to provide any explanation. A post-race veterinary examination initially revealed no abnormalities however upon cooling down the gelding developed colic and was treated prior to being transported to the Canterbury Equine Clinic in the Horse Ambulance for further assessment. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
PIONEER - held up by a weakening runner final bend. Again held up early stages of the run home.
I'M ROCKIN - driver R Close advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
TRUMP CARD - over-raced middle stages.
KOTARE KELSO - paced roughly passing the 850m. Placed in restricted room late in the run home when an outside runner hung inwards.
Race 2   GALLAGHER INSURANCE TROT
WHATS WANTED - trotted roughly passing the 900m. Weakened from the 600m. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
KOKO KABOOM - pre-race warmed.
SPECIAL EFFECTS - trotted roughly over the early stages.
MAJOR DOOSIE - trotted roughly and lay outwards in the run home. Driver B Orange advised he did not activate the removable gear in consequence.
SHEILA LAXON - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver C Dalgety advised he was disappointed with the effort and was unable to provide any explanation. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.

RIPTIDE - paced roughly in the run home.
HERE COMES MARTY - raced wide from the 700m. Raced greenly and shifted up the track sharply near the 500m hampering a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
CONNIE GOLIGHTLY - paced roughly near the 700m losing ground. Broke passing the 50m losing its chance.
STAR ON THE ROCKS - over-raced middle stages. Hampered by an inside runner near the 500m. Paced roughly rounding the final bend.
Race 4   THE PENINSULAR BEACHFRONT RESORT MOOLOOLABA MOB PACE
BALTIMORE AGAIN - weakened final bend.
SUMMER ROSE - broke at the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
WYDA WAKE - over-raced middle stages.
ASSISI LOVER - late scratching at 9.00am on Veterinary advice.
CAPTAIN JOAN - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
Race 5   BETAVET PRODUCTS STOCKED AT GARRARDS MOBILE PACE
CARBON - weakened from the 1000m hampering trailing runners and was retired from the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had suffered an atrial fibrillation. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance including the results of an ECG prior to completing one satisfactory trial before resuming.
MELTON MAGNATE - hampered by a weakening runner near the 1000m.
QUICKER THAN QUICK - over-raced early and middle stages. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 1000m. Weakened final bend. Driver S Thornley advised the gelding had over-raced and may have choked down. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
SAUCY DELIGHT - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
CHICAGO BEAR - paced roughly shortly after the start.
A DANCING ROCKA - hung outwards in the score up causing driver G Thornley difficulty. Raced wide early stages. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 1000m.

LOVE WALKED IN - broke at the start losing ground.
JIMMY CARTER - broke after 100m losing all chance.

DANCING DESIRE - a bandage came adrift during the running. This gear was inspected and found to be taped with trainer K Barron deemed not to be at fault.
MIKI KNOWS - when questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised the gelding had worked too hard in the middle stages when racing in the parked position.
MAGICIAN - hung inwards for a distance passing the 450m.
SPIRIT OF ANARCHY - when questioned regarding the performance driver C Dalgety advised the gelding may not have handled the slushy nature of the track tonight.
Race 8   GIRLS ON TOUR SYNDICATE 'SILK ROAD' WINTER SERIES (HCP TROT)
FOUR WISE WOMEN - broke at the start losing all chance.
HOLLY HIGHLANDER - driver S Thornley was issued a warning for striking the final track marker prior to the passing lane.
LOTTIE'S MOMENT - broke at the start losing ground. Over-raced middle stages.
GALLEONS AMBASSADOR - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Driver J Morrison advised he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
VERTIGO - broke racing into the first bend hampering a trailing runner losing ground.
I DREAM OF JEANNIE - driver J Dunn advised he did not activate the sliding blinds due to having the field covered.

TOBY TOM B - placed in restricted room by an outside runner shortly after the start. Shifted inwards racing into the first bend placing an inside runner in restricted room. Driver S Thornley was issued a warning.
