Race 1   THE ALEX BAR & EATERY
DEAR GOD - lay out near the 200m despite the efforts of Driver J Abernethy briefly hampering an outside runner.
WALTZING WITH MIKI - held up for clear racing room until near the 50m.
J T BOE - briefly hampered near the 200m. When questioned regarding the performance Driver J Dickie stated that he was satisfied with the effort after having raced without cover from the 1400m.
HAWKEYE PIERCE - late scratching at 9.06am on veterinary advice.
HEAVEN HIGH - Driver M Ranger reported that she was unable to activate the removable deafeners despite her efforts due to the gelding locking on the outside rein.
Race 2   IRT. YOUR HORSE OUR PASSION HANDICAP PACE
LEO LINCOLN - lay out over the concluding stages despite the efforts of Driver P Ferguson placing ROUGH AND READY in restricted room and contacted that runner's off hind just short of the winning post. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
KEVIN KLINE - slow to begin. Lay in contacting track markers near the 2300m.
ROUGH AND READY - lay in contacting a track marker near the 1250m. Raced in restricted room over the concluding stages having to be steadied.
MANTRA BLUE - lay in contacting a track marker near the 1250m.
Race 3   GROVE MITRE 10 MOBILE PACE
BIG HERB - lay in contacting a track marker near the 250m.
THE RASCAL - paced roughly rounding the final turn losing ground.
IN THE SUMMERTIME - raced wide with cover from the 800m. Weakened in the run home.
FRANCO SALAH - raced wide without cover from the 800m.
BROOKSIDE GIRL - raced wide with cover from the 800m.
TYTATE - raced wide early before being restrained to the rear. Had difficulty obtaining clear running early in the home straight.
ALWAYS B MAGIC - raced wide early and middle stages. Hampered by an inside runner and had to be steadied late in the run home.
SADHAKA - raced wide early and middle stages.
CYAMATE - lay in contacting several track markers near the 300m.
PRINCESS LISA - held up early final turn. Driver C Hackett was shown the replay and spoken to advisedly for the manner in which she shifted ground outwards late in the run home hampering an outside runner.
Race 4   CLASSIQUE LANDSCAPERS SILK ROAD TROTTERS FINAL HCP TROT
OCEAN EYES - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
CON GRAZIA LOVE - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
COURMAYEUR - broke passing the 300m losing its chance.
FORGIVENESS - weakened in the run home.
MELSADELE - when questioned regarding the performance Driver T Mitchell advised that although the mare had raced wide from the 800m he was slightly disappointed with the manner that she finished the race off.
Race 5   WOODLANDS STUD SILK ROAD NORTHERN PACERS HEAT 2 MOB PACE
COURTNEY ROSE - late scratching at 10.06am on veterinary advice.
MINJEE - raced wide early.
SEACLUSION - shifted out early in the run home but was corrected by Driver J Stormont.
ULTIMATE RACY GIRL - raced wide early and middle stages. When questioned regarding the performance Driver Z Butcher stated that the early effort to reach the parked position approaching the 1000m had taken its toll.
WICKED WANDA - weakened in the run home.
Race 6   LONE STAR ALEXANDRA PARK HANDICAP TROT
BOLT FOR THE HILL - held up early final turn.
IRON LOVE - slow early. Switched to a pace approaching the 150m then galloped losing its chance. Co-Trainer B Hackett advised that the gelding had cast the near fore shoe during the running.
HIGH ENERGY - Driver H Orange reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 7   GALLAGHER INSURANCE MOBILE PACE
WON AND ONLY - when questioned regarding the performance Co-Trainer/Driver S Phelan advised that the filly had failed to handle the rise in grade in tonight's event.
ROY KENT - shifted out marginally shortly after the start contacting SUGAR RAY LINCOLN's off fore. Stewards didn't attribute blame to either driver and took the matter no further.
SUGAR RAY LINCOLN - broke near the 800m losing its chance. No action was taken given the prevailing conditions.
The track was downgraded to Slushy after heavy rain fell prior to and during this event. Trainers were instructed to affix mudguards to their sulkies for the remaining races.
Race 8   REHARVEST TROT
HOME GROWN GIRL - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
ITMUSCLEBELOVE - Driver P Ferguson was warned for using his whip free of the rein on one occasion in the run home.
HAPPY HILL - pre-race warmed. Over-raced middle stages.
WHATEVER IT TAKES - Trainer J Young was warned for the late notification of the removal of blinds. Raced wide from the 550m. When questioned regarding the performance Driver M McKendry advised that the gelding had lay in rounding the final turn losing ground at a result.
IM A ROCKSTAR - lay out at various stages and in particular in the run home.
Race 9   HRNZ / AUCKLAND FAREWELL DEAN SHANNON MOBILE PACE
BENJAMIN BUTTON - lay in at various stages when trailing the leader contacting and dislodging several track markers.
LUKAKU - weakened leaving the final turn.
DREAMS OF ERIC - paced roughly in the score up and was back from position at dispatch. Paced roughly and broke near the 300m.
