Race 1   BOOK NOW FOR MID-WINTER CHRISTMAS MOBILE PACE
TYSON - lay in contacting a track marker final turn.
MURTLE THE TURTLE - lay in contacting a track marker near the 1200m.
DOMINUS - late scratching at 10.30am on veterinary advice.
CAPTAINS SECRET - over-raced middle stages when being restrained to obtain cover.
Race 2   MAGNESS VIDEO - THANK YOU FROM ATC - HANDICAP TROT
SANINARMBRO - began awkwardly. Over-raced middle stages.
TWO FRANCS - late scratching at 1.48pm due to transport difficulties.
FATHER BARRY - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
IT AIN'T ME BABE - Driver T Macfarlane reported that the mare had cast the off fore shoe during the middle stages.
MAKAKU - broke rounding the final turn losing all chance. A final warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
FORGIVENESS - when questioned regarding the performance Driver M White advised that he had been unable to get into the race from his 20m handicap given the solid tempo being set up front.
Race 3   LINCOLN FARMS MOBILE PACE
PANTS ON FIRE - Co-Trainers R & J Dunn were issued a warning for failing to have mudguards affixed to their sulky.
Race 4   BORDER FENCING SERVICES HANDICAP TROT
A false start was declared at the first attempt due to the barrier strands failing to release. A false start was also declared at the 2nd attempt due to HALBERG backing away prior to the start being effected. Stewards extended leniency when assessing horse penalties given the initial false start.
COURMAYEUR - broke at the start losing all chance.
Race 5   TAB - METRO PACERS SERIES FINAL MOBILE PACE
ALWAYS BE MATTIE - weakened near the 400m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off fore. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
IRON BRIGADE - paced roughly when being forced wider on the track over the concluding stages.
HOORAY HENRY - lay in on the turns causing Driver D Butcher some difficulty. Held up for clear racing room until late in the run home.
Race 6   TAB - METRO TROTTERS SERIES FINAL HANDICAP TROT
BRIENNE - weakened over the concluding stages.
BRAVEHEARTHIGHLANDER - held up final turn and early stages of the run home.
KAIPAKI JACK - commenced to weaken leaving the final turn.
MARO MACKENDON - commenced to over-race after surrendering the lead near the 900m. Held up briefly by a weakening runner rounding the final turn.
Race 7   GRAND PARK MOBILE PACE
DEAR GOD - lay out throughout the run home having to be straightened by Driver F Schumacher. Mr Schumacher was issued a warning for crossing his reins late in the run home to perform a celebratory gesture.
MIDFREW LUCRE - held up late in the run home when in restricted room.
DIXIELAND DELIGHT - back from position at dispatch. Driver L Hibell was issued a warning.
Race 8   HR FISKEN & SONS HANDICAP TROT
A false start was declared after the 30m barrier failed to clear HELSINGOR. After questioning Junior Driver H Orange, assisted by Z Butcher, and viewing the replays Stewards took the matter no further on this occasion other than to remind Mr Orange of his obligations.
ITMUSCLEBELOVE - broke near the 400m hampering trailing runners.
HAPPY HILL - over-raced middle stages. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m.
MANCHESTER'S MOMENT - slow early.
HELSINGOR - hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m. Weakened final turn.
SANTAPAZIENZA - Driver R Downey was issued a warning for using his whip free of the rein on one occasion and in a continuous manner late in the run home.
Race 9   MAGNESS BROADCAST- END OF AN ERA AT ALEX PARK MOBILE PACE
EYELINER - weakened rounding the final turn.
THE RASCAL - the murphy blind was removed prior to the start due to the colt failing to warm up favourably. Lay in and raced over a track marker near the 1250m. Authorisation of this runner's 3rd placing was withheld until Steward's viewed the replays and questioned Drivers P Ferguson (THE RASCAL) and M McKendry (BIG HERB) in relation to THE RASCAL contacting a track marker passing the 80m when looking for a run to the inside of BIG HERB. These two runners then locked wheels over the final 40m. After considering the matter Stewards were satisfied that THE RASCAL had not gained an advantage in this incident and gave all clear on the judge's placings. Mr Ferguson was issued a warning in relation to contacting the track marker.
BIG HERB - lay in and dislodged a track marker near the 250m.
