Race 1   CELEBRATING MATARIKI AT ALEXANDRA PARK MOBILE PACE
FINAL CHANGE - held up rounding the final bend.
KEVIN KLINE - out of position at the start. Driver M McKendry was issued a warning.
SEACLUSION - Driver J Stormont was warned for failing to ensure the tassel was removed from his whip.
AMERICAN ME - over-raced early when being restrained to the rear. Continued to over-race middle stages. Raced wide from the 700m. When questioned regarding his tactics Junior Driver H Orange, assisted by S Phelan, advised he had elected to go back early from a wide draw given he expected SEACLUSION to go forward to lead. Mr Orange further advised he had attempted to improve passing the 1400m but was unable do so because MANTRA BLUE improved forward off him with KEVIN KLINE then shifting out to lead up the running line but not progressing forward as he expected. He also added the gelding hadn't handled the bends well but was nevertheless pleased with the effort given how the race was run.
Race 2   WOODLANDS STUD - SILK ROAD F & M SERIES 2 HEAT 1 MOBILE PACE
DEAR GOD - lay in rounding the final bend contacting a track marker.
ALLETS - held up throughout the run home with Driver J Dunn not activating the sliding blinds and removable deafeners as a result.
MHAI SURFER GIRL - raced wide early.
TREACHEROUS BABY - lay in at various stages. When questioned regarding the performance Driver M Purdon advised the mare is best suited when held up for one run so he elected to go back early from a wide draw. He added the strong tempo over the closing sectionals and the fact the mare had been laying in over the concluding stages had made it difficult to make up ground and was not disappointed with the effort.
Race 3   ALABAR WEANLINGS SELLING 26 JUNE HANDICAP TROT
CON GRAZIA LOVE - over-raced middle stages after having been restrained early to take up a position on the marker line towards the rear. Checked near the 250m when BOUNCE N BEYOND and HIGH ENERGY locked wheels.
BOLT FOR THE HILL - broke at the start losing ground.
BOUNCE N BEYOND - locked wheels with HIGH ENERGY near the 250m when weakening.
HIGH ENERGY - lay in near the 250m and locked wheels with BOUNCE N BEYOND losing ground and momentum as a result.
Race 4   BRECKON FARMS - METRO PACERS SERIES HEAT 2 MOBILE PACE
BEACHBREAK - Driver J Dickie admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip & Rein Regulations for using his whip in a continuous manner late in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $450.
COURTNEY ROSE - weakened rounding the final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Co-Trainer R Dunn advised he will have blood tests taken from the mare in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.
HOORAY HENRY - lay in on various occasions during the running.
BETA PREPARE - over-raced middle stages. Held up throughout the run home.
Race 5   NUFARM CROP PROTECTION MOBILE PACE
SADHAKA - over-raced middle stages. Held up early final bend.
NELSON'S BOY - broke near the 500m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
Race 6   HYDROFLOW - METRO TROTTERS SERIES HEAT 3 HANDICAP TROT
The start was delayed due to the field being turned out of line after the Starter was not satisfied with the manner in which the field addressed the barriers.
VAL THORENS - broke near the 1150m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
SANS AU REVOIR - over-raced middle stages.
BRAVEHEARTHIGHLANDER - broke passing the 200m contacting the sulky wheel of JASINOVA losing all chance. After viewing the replays and hearing from Junior Driver J Dunn, assisted by R Dunn, Stewards were satisfied BRAVEHEARTHIGHLANDER had over-raced when improving on to the back of JASINOVA resulting in the contact occurring with a warning being placed on the gelding's racing manners.
CRAZY - pre-race warmed. Broke at the start losing all chance.
JASINOVA - Driver L Chin reported that he sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 200m.
THAT'S WHAT WE DO - weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination including an endoscopic procedure at the trainer's request revealed no significant abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
Race 7   2025 NATIONAL WEANLING SALE 26 JUNE MOBILE PACE
IRON HEART - held up throughout the run home.
CAPTAIN MOONLIGHT - hampered by a breaking runner entering the first bend. Weakened in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance Driver T Herlihy advised he was disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
JOHNNY LINCOLN - broke entering the first bend hampering trailing runners and lost ground. A warning was placed on the colt's racing manners. Over-raced middle stages.
TUAREG - hampered by a breaking runner entering the first bend.
BIG HERB - hampered by a breaking runner entering the first bend.
Race 8   THE ALEX BAR & EATERY MOBILE TROT
CYCLONE SALA - broke in the score up but was in position at the candy pole.
HAPPY HILL - pulled hard in the score up and early stages. Weakened leaving the final bend.
BAFFLED - weakened from the 500m.
