Race 1   GAVELHOUSE.COM HANDICAP TROT
PIRAYAS - pre-race warmed. Raced in restricted room over the final 100m.
RUN FOREST RUN - slow early. Over-raced middle stages.
CHESINOV - slow early. Lost contact with the body of the field racing down the back straight the first time and trailed the field thereafter.
Race 2   GREGORY EQUINE MOBILE PACE
THE RASCAL - co-trainers R Green & N Delany were issued a $50 Minor Infringement Notice for the late notification that the colt would race with removable deafeners.
VALEREI - held up final bend and throughout the run home.
RHINESTONE - when questioned regarding the performance Driver A Poutama could offer no explanation for the gelding's disappointing effort.
FLYING DRAGON - shifted out leaving the final bend having to be corrected by Driver T Cameron.
Race 3   TFS HORSE TRANSPORT MOBILE PACE
BROOKSIDE GIRL - hampered by a weakening runner near the 800m losing ground.
DELIGHTFUL CHIC - over-raced middle stages. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 800m losing ground.
LINCOLN LA MOOSE - slow to score up but was in position at the candy pole. Weakened rounding the final bend.
MEDINA MAGIC - compounded from the 800m hampering trailing runners then broke near the 600m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
RED RACKHAM - weakened in the run home.
Race 4   BETAVET BUILDAGUT HANDICAP TROT
ALL MUSCLED UP - began awkwardly.
VERONICA JANE - broke near the 1300m and galloped for a considerable distance losing all chance.
RUBY RIDGE - broke near the 100m losing its chance.
Race 5   PHIL COURTNEY MEMORIAL MOBILE PACE
CAPTAIN ZENZI - weakened from the 800m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
LEWEY MAGUIRE - weakened rounding the final bend.
Following this race trainers were directed to affix mudguards to their sulkies.
Race 6   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS MOBILE PACE
The initial score up was aborted in the early stages due to an issue with the gear on JACCKA OPA.
DIXIELAND DELIGHT - Driver A Poutama was issued a warning for contacting a track marker near the 200m.
JACCKA OPA - over-raced middle stages. Paced roughly passing the 150m.
I CAN TOO - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
BENSON DUDE - raced three wide early.
SAVARNA - over-raced middle stages. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room over the concluding stages.
Race 7   MID WINTER CHRISTMAS TICKETS ON SALE NOW TROT
REWIRI HILL - lay in and trotted roughly near the 250m.
ULTIMATE MOMENT - broke at the start losing ground.
KAWARAU LIL - weakened final turn. When questioned regarding the performance Driver J Dunn advised that the mare may not have been suited to racing parked in what was her second start back from a spell.
PRESIDENT FLYNNTIN - due to Junior Driver K Coppins having left the course, Stewards opened and adjourned an enquiry into the manner in which she used her whip in the run home.
