Race 1   BEAUTY BARRY NZ AMATEUR DRIVER CHAMPS (HEAT 3) MOBILE PACE
FAST ACE - held up rounding the final bend. Driver C Wigg was issued a warning for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
A DANCING ROCKA - hung outwards in the score up and was out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver A Sharpe. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Paced roughly rounding the final bend.
KOWHAI NUGGET - hung inwards in the score up and was out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver C Negus. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced greenly for a distance near the 1500m. Raced wide from the 1000m.
Race 2   THANK YOU TO OUR OWNERS TROT
The start was delayed due to MUSCLE DASH being fractious. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
A REASON TO FIGHT - broke at the start losing ground.
ARDEN SOLITAIRE - broke after 100m losing all chance.
FULL EXPOSURE - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
RONDO TROUBLE - broke after 100m losing ground. Weakened in the run home.
CHESTER GOLD - driver K Cameron was issued a warning for using his whip free of the rein on one occasion in the run home.
SWEET CAROLINE - broke after 200m losing all chance.

Race 3   BRAXTON FARRIERS NZ AMATEUR DRIVER CHAMPS (HEAT 4) MOB PACE
MACK PACK - weakened final bend.
TIMBIMBOO - hung inwards in the middle stages of the run home and briefly hampered by STEPHS BOY which shifted outwards marginally shortly after. Driver B Hadley was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
SOCIAL DISTANCING - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Over-raced middle stages. Hung inwards rounding the final bend and struck a track marker which was dislodged before weakening in the run home. Driver A Edge advised he did not activate the removable deafeners or sliding blinds in consequence.
STEPHS BOY - shifted outwards rounding the final bend when driver C Sharpe activated the removable deafeners. Mr Sharpe was issued a warning. Again shifted outwards marginally in the run home. Authorisation of 1st placing was withheld until driver B Hadley (TIMBIMBOO) placed 2nd, had viewed the replays and confirmed his chances had not been affected and he did not wish to proceed with a protest.

MELTON MOGUL - weakened final bend hampering trailing runners.
YOGI'S COLADA - over-raced middle stages.
PACIFIC THUNDER - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
HEAVEN FORBID - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
Race 5   THE DUMPSTER SYNDICATE TROT
BONJOUR PARIS - broke near the 1800m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
BRETT'S MATE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 500m.
MODE - trotted roughly in the early stages. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1800m.
ALDEBARAN CRYSTAL - began awkwardly.
HERE COMES JANE - broke near the 500m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
Race 6   WELCOME KORBYN NEWMAN TO THE TEAM MOBILE PACE
KOTARE RIMU - trainer R Houghton was issued a warning for being late to notify the gelding would be racing without the notified blinds. Held up rounding the final bend by a weakening runner. Lay inwards when being shifted outwards near the 250m and was awkwardly placed to the outside of the tiring CONAN and paced roughly after striking the sulky wheel of that runner.
CONAN - lay inwards rounding the final bend and early in the run home when weakening.
SIMPLY AMAZING - over-raced middle stages.
SHOW STOPPER - pre-race warmed. Paced roughly in the early stages. Raced greenly for a distance passing the 1200m when attempting to lead. Driver C Dalgety advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 7   ANY EXCUSE SYNDICATE SILK ROAD (HEAT 3) MOBILE TROT
STELLA BAY - broke near the 900m hampering trailing runners losing all chance.
REAL MOONSHINE - late scratching at 11.35am on Veterinary advice.
ASPIRATIONAL DREAM - when questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised he was disappointed with the effort and was unable to provide any tangible explanation.
WHO'S QUEEN - pre-race warmed. Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
FREYA - raced wide early.
MAJESDIX - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Weakened in the run home.
SPOTLIGHT - hampered by a breaking runner near the 900m.
SANDFLY BAY - weakened in the run home.
FLORENCE THE MACHINE - over-raced early and middle stages. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 900m and broke shortly after losing all chance.
Race 8   LAVROS LODGE SILK ROAD (HEAT 2) MOBILE PACE
TO RI RUBY - raced greenly when there was a slight easing of the pace near the 1100m hampering a trailing runner which shifted outwards.
MAJOR HAPPY - over-raced middle stages.
MIKRA WAVE - broke as the start was effected losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Forced to race wider on the track near the 1100m when JUDINE shifted outwards.
JUDINE - hampered by TO RI RUBY which raced greenly after an easing of the pace near the 1100m and shifted outwards forcing MIKRA WAVE to race wider on the track for a short distance. After hearing from drivers J Morrison (MIKRA WAVE) and M Lewis (JUDINE) and also taking into account the easing of the pace, Miss Lewis was reminded of her obligations when shifting ground in similar circumstances in future.
TREMENDOUS SENSATION - over-raced middle stages.
KUSHITE WARRIOR - raced wide from the 800m.
GEM N EM - over-raced early stages.
IMPRESSIVE SHARD - weakened final bend.
Race 9   MIKE (GOT A BIT ON) PALERMO PACE
A BETTER JACKALACK - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MOOSE MOROWSKI - lay inwards and struck a track marker rounding the final bend.
APATCHOFGOLD - driver J Curtin accidentally dropped his whip early in the run home.
VERMEER LUSTRE - broke briefly at the start losing ground. Over-raced middle stages.
Race 10   THANK YOU TO OUR STAFF SILK ROAD (HEAT 3) MOBILE PACE
ELEKTRA KING - shied and broke near the 1500m when leading hampering trailing runners losing all chance and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly. Driver T Williams advised the filly had shied at some water on the infield.
VINCENT REACTRESS - held up over the concluding stages. The near side hopple broke during the running. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition.
OUR SHANGRI LANA - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500m.
CLASSIE LINC - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500m. Over-raced middle stages.
SOPHIA BROMAC - pre-race warmed. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500m.
