Race 1   LONE STAR ALEXANDRA PARK HANDICAP TROT
HILLBILLY BLUES - broke at the start losing ground. Broke again shortly after briefly hampering a trailing runner losing further ground.
FORGIVENESS - pre-race warmed. Broke leaving the final turn losing its chance.
BOUNCE N BEYOND - held up early stages of the run home.
HALBERG - lay in contacting a track marker near the 250m.
HIGH ENERGY - hampered briefly shortly after the start.
Race 2   WOODLANDS STUD - SILK ROAD NORTHERN F & M FINAL MOBILE PACE
CHANGE TACT - lay in and contacted a track marker near the 900m.
BROOKSIDE GIRL - had difficulty obtaining clear running until late in the home straight.
COURTNEY ROSE - lay out and briefly locked wheels with MELODY BANNER final turn. Held up throughout the run home with Driver H Orange not activating the removable deafeners as a result.
PRINCESS OF SAVOY - raced wide early. Lay out leaving the final turn despite the efforts of Driver T Cameron. When questioned regarding the performance Mr T Cameron advised that the early effort may of taken its toll.
MELODY BANNER - raced wide early and middle stages. Briefly locked wheels with COURTNEY ROSE final turn. Held up early in the run home.
TOSANA - weakened in the run home.
Race 3   ON TRACK - METRO PACERS SERIES HEAT 1 MOBILE PACE
SECRETS ABOUND - lay in racing over several track markers leaving the final turn.
THE BETTOR DEAL - checked by a breaking runner approaching the 400m losing ground. Weakened in the run home.
BRUNTWOOD BRIGADE - checked by a breaking runner approaching the 400m and paced roughly losing ground.
HOORAY HENRY - raced wide early.
JOES ROCK - over-raced early and contacted track markers near the 1750m with one track marker being dislodged. Continued to over-race middle stages. Checked by a breaking runner approaching the 400m and raced over further track markers when taking evasive action. Weakened in the run home.
ST JOHN EIGHT - broke approaching the 400m checking trailing runners and lost all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
Race 4   CLASSIQUE LANDSCAPERS HANDICAP PACE
The barriers were handheld after Starter D Blakemore advised that there was an issue with the starting mechanism.
LEO LINCOLN - began awkwardly.
HERB - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
MATAI PHIL - broke briefly at the start before having to take evasive action to avoid a breaking runner and paced roughly for some strides.
SEACLUSION - began awkwardly.
Race 5   HAPPY RETIREMENT GRAHAM LUEY FROM THE OBEX TEAM MOBILE PACE
PRINCESS LISA - hampered by a breaking runner near the 250m.
IRON HEART - broke briefly near the 250m hampering trailing runners.
FLYING DRAGON - hampered by a breaking runner near the 250m.
THE REVENANT - hampered by a breaking runner near the 250m.
CALORIEFREE - raced wide early and middle stages.
TUAREG - raced wide early before being restrained to the rear. Lay in at various stages. Held up late in the run home with Driver D Butcher not activating the removable deafeners as a result.
Race 6   STAR PERSONNEL - METRO TROTTERS SERIES HT 1 HANDICAP TROT
The start was delayed when the field was turned out of line due to Starter D Blakemore not being satisfied with the manner in which the unruly horses faced the barrier.
SANINARMBRO - began awkwardly. Over-raced middle stages. Driver R Downey reported that he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord breaking.
SANS AU REVOIR - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
BRAVEHEARTHIGHLANDER - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Junior Driver J Dunn, assisted by Z Butcher, was shown the replay and spoken to advisedly in relation to the manner in which he paraded prior to the start.
JASINOVA - Driver L Chin was shown the replay and questioned in relation to the position that he was occupying at dispatch when drawn unruly 2. Dr Chin explained that he had encountered difficulty when attempting to follow THE MOONSTONE which had become fractious and as a result turned into line in a position to the inside of BRAVEHEARTHIGHLANDER which had drawn unruly 1. After considering the matter Stewards extended leniency on this occasion given the circumstances and took the matter no further other than to remind Dr Chin of his obligations.
THE MOONSTONE - fractious prior to the start. Broke at the start losing all chance.
VERY MAJESTIC - held up early final turn.
MELSADELE - required assistance from an Attendant prior to the start. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
Race 7   THE ALEX BAR & EATERY SOUTH OF THE BOMBAYS COND MOBILE PACE
MURTLE THE TURTLE - weakened leaving the final turn.
CAPTAINS SECRET - raced erratically shortly after the start and shifted out briefly checking an outside runner. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
LINCOLN LA MOOSE - checked briefly shortly after the start by an inside runner.
ADJOURNMENT - held up early final turn.
Race 8   2025 NATIONAL WEANLING SALE 26 JUNE 2YO MOBILE PACE
LINCOLN MAREE - fractious and required the assistance of an Attendant prior to the start. Back from position throughout the score up then broke shortly after the start before shifting down onto the infield losing all chance. Stood down to trial from a mobile to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming. Trainer R Green advised the filly would be turned out for a spell.
BUDDY GUY - shifted out near the 150m checking JOHNNY LINCOLN (3rd place) for several strides. Authorisation of 1st placing was withheld until Stewards and connections of JOHNNY LINCOLN viewed the replays to ascertain whether there were grounds for a protest. After viewing the replays and hearing from Driver P Ferguson (JOHNNY LINCOLN) Stewards took the matter no further with the connections of JOHNNY LINCOLN also electing not to proceed with a protest. A warning was placed on BUDDY GUY's racing manners. Driver C Hackett was examined by St John Ambulance after having been dragged for a distance when tipped from the sulky on returning to the stabling area but was found to be uninjured and cleared to take her drive in race 9. BUDDY GUY was also uninjured in this incident.
EVERNDEN - over-raced leaving the back straight the final time.
Race 9   MONDIALE VGL - METRO TROTTERS SERIES HEAT 2 TROT
The start was delayed due to MARO MACKENDON breasting the barrier at the first attempt. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
PARAMOUNT LADY - Trainer M Jones was issued a warning for the late notification of Driver M McKendry. Slow to begin. Weakened final turn. When questioned regarding the performance Mr McKendry could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
MARO MACKENDON - raced clear in the lead throughout.
BERTHA'S PRIDE - weakened in the run home.
CYCLONE SALA - slow early. Lay in final turn contacting track markers.
