Pre-race blood testing was carried out.

Following the running of Race 4 the track conditions were downgraded to Slushy with trainers directed to affix mudguards to their sulkies. This information was disseminated through the appropriate channels however as the oncourse sound system proved difficult to hear down at the stabling area, Stewards extended leniency when assessing mudguard penalties for Race 5.

Race 8 - BARNES WILD BLUFF OYSTERS HANDICAP TROT
Stewards have concluded an inquiry into the incident involving KYLE LOCH (A Kyle), which became awkwardly positioned to the inside of MISSILE (N Williamson) near the 700m. As a result, KYLE LOCH made contact with the sulky wheel of OUR SUPERFUND and broke gait. After reviewing all available footage and considering the initial evidence provided, drivers A Kyle and N Williamson were spoken to regarding the manner in which they drove.

SIX O'CLOCK GERRY - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
PHISHING - lay in contacting track markers near the 1300m and again near the 500m.
THE GREEK FREAK - trotted roughly for a distance near the 1600m. Lay inwards on the bends throughout.
SHAKEDOWN - broke at the start losing all chance. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts.
KIMBO - broke at the start losing ground. Trotted roughly for a distance near the 800m. Broke again passing the 400m losing all chance.
MAJESTIC CHALLEN - lay in on the bends throughout. Contacted track markers on the final bend.
TICKTOCK MCGLAUGHLIN - raced wide early. Weakened from the 600m.
KENNY'S MATE - slow to begin. Trotted roughly at stages throughout.

GLENKENICK - raced wide early. Lay inwards near the 1300m contacting track markers.
PARADISE VALLEY - lay inwards over the concluding stages of the run home having to be straightened by driver S Hill.
HAVARTI ARDEN - raced wide early.
ARTMORE - over-raced in the score up and through the early and middle stages.
FRANCO HUNTINGTON - lay inwards near the 1300m contacting track markers.

RASPALIA - over-raced middle stages.
SHOWCASE - lay outwards final bend placing an outside runner in restricted room. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home.
GOORAMBAT ART - over-raced middle stages.
JENNY GUMP - sustained a punctured sulky tyre with the tyre and tube coming off the rim near the 600m. Placed in restricted room for a short distance rounding the final bend.
SUPERFAST - paced roughly late in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
MAGIC SIGN - paced roughly late in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.

Race 5   DIAMOND CREEK FARM/SBSR SILK ROAD TROTTERS SERIES HCP TROT
MIXED FAITH - trotted roughly in the run home and was unable to be fully driven out by driver B Williamson.
TILLABERI - broke rounding the final bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
PRECIOUS MEMORIES - broke briefly shortly after the start losing ground. Broke again near the 1800m losing considerable ground. Trotted roughly at stages throughout.
Race 6   EQUINE PRODUCTS NZ MOBILE PACE
TASHS BAD GIRL - held up final bend and throughout the run home.
HAZER - trainer C Gerken was warned for failing to affix mudguards to the sulky.
DRAGON POWER - trainer J Douglas was warned for failing to affix mudguards to the sulky.
CRUISING FONTANA - co-trainers A & G Milne were warned for failing to affix mudguards to the sulky. Held up final bend and until late in the run home. Driver B Barclay reported a sulky tyre had deflated during the running.
KENSI - trainer S Baucke was warned for failing to affix mudguards to the sulky. Broke early in the score up and was back from the Unruly position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
Race 7   REMEMBERING JAMIE SEARLE HANDICAP TROT
KYLE LOCH - hampered by a breaking runner near the 800m.
OUR SUPERFUND - hampered by a breaking runner near the 800m.
XERION - contacted a track marker on the final bend. Driver K Larsen was issued with a warning.
DOWNTOWN ORLANDO - broke passing the 800m hampering trailing runners, losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Broke again passing the 500m losing all chance.
KOKO KABOOM - pre-race warmed. Broke racing into the first bend losing ground. Authorisation of this runner's 2nd placing was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
AVEROSS MAJESTY - trainer D O'Connell was warned for failing to affix mudguards to the sulky. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 800m.
ANDY HALL - trainer L Bond was warned for failing to affix mudguards to the sulky.
DOMINATION'S CALL - trainer B Williamson was warned for failing to affix mudguards to the sulky.
Race 8   McKNIGHT & BROWN CELEBRATING 70 YEARS MOBILE PACE
MAGNETIC BECKERS - raced wide final bend.
MIDNIGHT BABE - trainer K Green was warned for failing to affix mudguards to the sulky. Raced wide early. Over-raced when being restrained to obtain cover in the middle stages.
SPORTY CHARLIE - raced wide final bend. Driver B Morris was warned for using his whip free of the rein on one occasion in the run home.
CARBON - raced three wide from the 1300m.
RIGHTAZZ - raced three wide from the 1350m until reaching the parked position passing the 900m. Checked passing the 80m.
ABULL - held up early stages of the run home. Shifted ground abruptly near the 80m contacting and checking an inside runner. Broke over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a laceration to the left front leg which was treated. Connections were advised ABULL was stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming. Junior driver D Anderson, assisted by senior driver C Ferguson, admitted a charge that he drove carelessly in the incident near the 80m when allowing his runner to shift ground inwards checking an inside runner. After viewing replays and considering penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Anderson's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 17 July 2025, 4 days.
Race 9   DIAMOND CREEK FARM/SBSR SILK ROAD SERIES FINAL (MOBILE PACE)
DOUBLE QUICK - pre-race warmed.
INDIANA ARDEN - raced wide early. Again, raced three wide without cover from the 1300m.
ALWAYS TICKING - raced three wide with cover from the 1300m.
FRANCENT - raced wide early.
MALLORY MAGUIRE - when questioned regarding the performance driver N Williamson advised the mare had over-raced throughout and this had taken its toll.
REMISSION - held up leaving the final bend and then had difficulty obtaining clear running throughout the run home.
HALEY JACCKA - raced three wide with cover from the 1300m.
INSARCHATWIST - raced three wide with cover from the 1300m.
Race 10   NORTHERN SOUTHLAND TROTTING CLUB MOBILE PACE
JAYAR MAC - trainer D Wilson was warned for failing to affix mudguards to the sulky. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 600m.
BROOKIES PLAYER - hampered by a weakening runner near the 600m.
ALWAYS BE BOOTIE - held up rounding the final bend and early in the run home.
TED - weakened from the 600m hampering trailing runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had suffered an atrial fibrillation. Connections were advised TED was stood down pending a veterinary clearance including the results of an ECG before completing one trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
