SIR MONTY - weakened from the 800m hampering trailing runners. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn was unable to provide any explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
KING ARTHUR - held up early in the run home.
BETTERTHANDIVA - raced wide early. Weakened final bend.
THE MANDALORIAN - over-raced middle stages. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 800m.
ANYTIME AT ALL - trainer B Ward admitted a breach of the Programming Conditions Regulation in that he was late to present the mare on course. After hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200. Raced wide early.
HE'S TOUGH - over-raced when racing wide in the early stages. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
TO RI RUBY - trainer S Adlam was issued a warning for presenting the mare to race without the notified removable deafeners.
BETTERWITHBLING - hampered by a weakening runner near the 800m.

WHAT THE DRAGON - hung outwards rounding the final bend and in the run home and shifted up the track despite the efforts of driver K Cameron.
MONARO MEDORA - trotted roughly in the run home.
A REASON TO FIGHT - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
ROYAL HOUSE - broke near the 500m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
SNOOOWGOOD - broke at the start losing ground. Broke again rounding the first bend losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of co-trainers B & T White.
MUSCLE DASH - trainer T Bagrie was issued a warning for presenting the gelding to race with blinds which had not been notified. Trotted roughly passing the 200m.

SUPERFAST LADY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 500m.

WHYAMIHERE - driver J Curtin had difficulty activating the removable deafeners early in the run home.
JOHN STEWART - over-raced middle stages. Hung inwards at various stages throughout causing driver R May difficulty. Held up early in the run home.
SHADES OF ROBYN - trainer T Cross was issued a warning for being late to notify the gelding would be racing with fixed deafeners. Raced wide until obtaining cover near the 1700m. Had some difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
IM ALL IN - held up early in the run home. Driver B Munro was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
SHADOW CREEK - raced wide early.
ULTIMATE GLADIATOR - raced wide early. Again raced wide with cover from the 1100m.
ROCKCENT - held up middle stages of the run home.

Race 4   THE PHAT DUCK BREW BAR & KITCHEN MOBILE PACE
MIKRA WAVE - held up leaving the final bend and early in the run home.
JUDINE - weakened early in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance driver M Lewis advised the mare had worked hard in the middle stages of the race when sustaining pressure from an outside runner and had proved disappointing over the concluding stages.
OKIWI BAY - raced wide early.
LILY'S A STAR - held up early in the run home. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the mare had not gained an advantage when striking the final track marker prior to the passing lane. Driver S Tomlinson was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice.
TIMES ARE A CHANGIN - held up early in the run home.
HEAVEN - raced wide early and middle stages.
NOT OVER - raced wide early and middle stages. Locked wheels briefly with THE BETTOR MAJOR near the 250m.
THE BETTOR MAJOR - lay inwards early in the run home and briefly locked wheels with NOT OVER near the 250m.
JUKEBOX GYPSY - held up early in the run home.

RADIOACTIVE JAFFA - driver R May was issued a $200 Minor Infringement Notice for crossing over prior to reaching the start point. Held up rounding the final bend and in the early and middle stages of the run home.
Race 5   HELEN POPE 2YO FILLIES CLASSIC (MOBILE PACE)
HAVTIMETODREAM - driver P Hunter admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip free of the rein on one occasion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Hunter's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 2 June up to and including 26 June 2025 (3 days).
ALWAYS BY NIGHT - raced wide early. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised the filly had over-raced when racing in the parked position which may have taken its toll.
Race 6   G & R PARTNERSHIP TROT
A false start was declared when BONJOUR PARIS contacted the barrier strand. Driver J Thomas elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart.
BONJOUR PARIS - broke racing into the first bend losing ground. Over-raced middle stages. Hampered final bend. Broke again near the 200m losing its chance. Driver J Thomas defended a breach of Rule 858(1)(a) alleging he caused a delay when anticipating the start and allowed the gelding to contact the barrier strand resulting in a false start. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Thomas the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and imposed a fine of $200.
DIVA BEE - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Broke again leaving the final bend losing all chance.
GO HOME DENISE - trotted roughly in the early stages.
GEENA'S GIFT - raced wide early.
TRANSTASMAN BUBBLE - broke at the start losing ground. Hampered final bend.
LOTTIE'S MOMENT - shifted outwards leaving the final bend and contacted the sulky wheel of GO HOME DENISE and broke in consequence losing all chance. Driver J Morrison admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly in this incident. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.
MIDNIGHT DIAMOND - raced wide near the 1500m. Stewards investigated a possible breach of the Push Out Rule near the 1500m when MIDNIGHT DIAMOND raced wider on the track. After viewing the replays it was established that driver J Morrison (LOTTIE'S MOMENT) had shifted wider on the track prior to MIDNIGHT DIAMOND reaching his sulky wheel and no further action was deemed necessary. Weakened final bend.
HARRIET'S MOMENT - fractious prior to the start causing driver R May difficulty. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a standing start prior to resuming. Mr May was issued a warning for half carting for a distance passing the 1600m. Lay inwards throughout the run home. Stewards lodged a protest against 3rd placing being awarded under Rule 859(2) alleging the mare had started from the incorrect barrier position and in doing so gained an advantage. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr May the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and HARRIET'S MOMENT was disqualified.
SON E - broke leaving the final bend losing all chance.
STELLA BAY - lay inwards final bend losing ground hampering trailing runners. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
Race 7   GRAEME SPARKS MEMORIAL JUNIOR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE
The start was delayed due to the protest in the previous race.
DR GACHET - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver H Douglas advised the gelding had become worked up after the delay to the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer T Yesberg advised he will have blood tests taken from the horse in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.
FRANCO ELVIS - over-raced early and middle stages.
GIMMESOMELOVIN - over-raced when racing wide in the early stages. Driver H Sail advised the gelding had been striking the sulky wheels.
SHE'S A JEWEL - held up final bend and in the early and middle stages of the run home.
A BETTER JACKALACK - paced roughly in the early stages.
Race 8   RURAL BUSINESS ACCOUNTANTS 3YO CHAMPION STAKES (MOB PACE)
MIKI FLYBYE - broke at the start losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
MALAKAI - the rein bar was removed prior to the start after warming up unfavourably. Lay inwards leaving the final bend striking track markers.
ALWAYS DREAMING - driver N Williamson admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the repays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $500.
Race 9   RAKAIA SEED CLEANING NZ SAPLING STAKES (MOBILE PACE)
A false start was declared when FREEZE FRAME broke in the score up and shifted outwards abruptly making heavy contact with the sulky of RAKERO MAXIMUS before falling to the track. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the colt. FREEZE FRAME was declared a late scratching on Veterinary advice and transported from the track in the Horse Ambulance with the start of the race being significantly delayed.
SIMPLY AMAZING - driver N Williamson admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Williamson's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 2 June up to and including 15 June 2025. (5 days).
FREEZE FRAME - a post-race veterinary examination revealed abrasions to the right front knee and elbow which were treated. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
RAKERO MAXIMUS - raced wide early. Weakened final bend.
Race 10   S.I.D.C. SOCIAL CLUB FILLIES & MARES MOBILE TROT
The start was delayed at the request of Raceday Control.
LIME IN A BOTTLE - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
YOSEMITE - placed in restricted room racing into the first bend. Driver B Munro admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Munro's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 8 June 2025 (2 days).
ROYAL DIEDRE - shifted inwards racing into the first bend placing inside runners in restricted room with SPOTLIGHT having to be restrained and striking track markers. Stewards opened and adjourned an enquiry into this incident.
LOTUS FRANCO - raced wide early and middle stages.
IT'S SO EASY - driver P Davis advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
HOLLY HIGHLANDER - held up early in the run home.
