When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver A Edge advised that despite the gelding having to work hard through the middle stages in the parked position he had been disappointed with the effort. Mr Edge was issued a warning for using his whip free of the rein on one occasion near the 1100m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Mr Edge advised he will have blood tests taken from the gelding in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results. | |

| SHEEP - hung inwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Lay inwards near the 1300m losing the back of TIOGA PASS. | |
| BONJOUR PARIS - raced greenly and trotted roughly near the 1400m with the gelding shifting up the track. Again raced greenly and shifted up the track in the run home. When questioned regarding the improved performance co-trainer/driver J Thomas advised the gelding had been breaking in previous starts and had trialed well in preparation for tonight's race. Mr Thomas was spoken to advisedly for the manner in which he drove when allowing the gelding to race away from the marker line when leading at various stages. | |
| STARSTRUCK - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Broke near the 1500m losing ground. Broke again at the 900m losing all chance and was retired from the race. | |
