Returned to the assembly area with a small amount of blood present in a nostril. A post-race veterinary examination confirmed the mare was not a bleeder. | |

A protest was lodged against 1st placing being awarded under Rule 869(7B) alleging the gelding had gained an advantage by racing inside the final track marker prior to the passing lane. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and driver W House the Adjudicative Committee dismissed the protest. Mr House was issued a warning for allowing his horse to race inside a track marker. | |

Authorisation of placings was withheld until Stewards were satisfied no advantage had been gained by the horse starting from the incorrect barrier position. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. | |
BEAT THE COVID - late scratching at 3.47pm on veterinary advice after falling in the birdcage. A veterinary examination revealed grazing on the left knee and lameness in the left hind leg. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming. | |
KD ROYALTY - trotted roughly over the concluding stages. Driver G O'Reilly will be spoken to in the coming days for the manner he drove near the 1100m. |

PHONE TAP - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after not having raced for a considerable period of time and was cleared to start. Over-raced early stages. Weakened final bend. Returned to the assembly area with blood present in a nostril. A post-race veterinary examination confirmed the mare was not a bleeder. | |

AVENGER - held up throughout the run home. Stewards questioned driver W House regarding his decision to shift inwards near the 600m. Mr House explained that at the time he shifted inwards ALMIGHTY CLEVER which he was trailing was under pressure and believed it was his best option to shift inwards in an attempt to save ground instead of being forced to race wider. After considering Mr House's explanation and viewing the replays, Stewards were satisfied his decision at the time was not unreasonable and took the matter no further. | |
