Co-trainer G Hope advised Stewards on 6 August blood tests taken from MOSSDALE MARGARET revealed no abnormalities adding the mare will be continuing with its current preparation.

Race 1   IRT. YOUR HORSE. OUR PASSION. TROT
SPECIAL EFFECTS - broke near the 175m losing its chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
HERE COMES JANE - driver P Davis advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
IT'S SO EASY - broke at the start losing ground.
WUDABUBBIT - broke racing into the first bend losing ground. Broke again near the 700m and on the final bend losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on two occasions prior to resuming.
IMPERIAL COMMAND - trainer A Clark reported the gelding lost the near hind shoe during the running.
Race 2   ADDINGTON CUP WEEK PACKAGES ON SALE NOW MOBILE PACE
FRANCO ELVIS - held up throughout the run home.
VERDUCCI - driver J Young-Grant was issued a warning for using her whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
SHAPELY - over-raced early. Weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance trainer D Flint advised in her opinion the mare may not have handled the track conditions.
JAY PEE SHENAY - raced wide early.
SALUTE - over-raced early stages.
FRANCO SHERIFF - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver T Williams. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
Race 3   AVON CITY FORD MOBILE PACE
PATIRO - held up in the early and middle stages of the run home.
LADY VINCENT - held up in the early and middle stages of the run home.
SANTANNA MACH - raced wide early. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 600m.
THE CRAIC - raced wide early and middle stages. Weakened from the 600m hampering a trailing runner. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn was unable to provide any explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
OCEAN BREEZE - held up early in the run home.
ZIA BROMAC - raced wide early and middle stages.
Race 4   AIRPARK CANTERBURY PACE
KATHERINE - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after not having raced for a considerable period of time and was cleared to start.
KIWI HERO - tangled away. Hung inwards final bend and held up until late in the run home. Driver R Holmes advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
Race 5   THE TYRE GENERAL MOBILE PACE
JUST ASK PADDY - weakened final bend.
LAKELSA - out of position at the candy pole despite the efforts of driver C Ferguson. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
JACK TAR - hung outwards in the run home having to be steadied near the 50m.
Race 6   BETAVET TROT
GALLEONS AMBASSADOR - trotted roughly near the 150m having to be steadied.
SUNNY LOUIS - broke briefly at the start.
MM SUNSHINE - driver R Holmes was reminded of his obligations to fully drive the mare out to the end of the race.
KINK - trotted roughly passing the 900m losing ground. Again trotted roughly rounding the final bend and in the run home.
RUAKAKA - trotted roughly near the 150m having to be steadied.
Race 7   GARRARDS NATIONAL HANDICAP PACE
TEMPO WARRIOR - broke at the start losing ground.
COMMANDER BEN - broke at the start losing ground.
BLACK MACH - broke at the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
FRANCO SINATRA - hampered by a breaking runner at the start.
Race 8   TRACKSIDE DINING AVAILABLE 30TH AUGUST HANDICAP TROT
ROYAL DEL - hampered by a weakening runner final bend. Shifted inwards leaving the final bend placing an inside runner in restricted room which struck track markers. Driver J Morrison was issued a warning.
GREENBANK DON - trainer G Smith was issued a $50 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to have mudguards affixed. Weakened final bend hampering trailing runners. Struck track markers when placed in restricted room by an outside runner leaving the final bend.
FREYA - tangled away. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend. Held up early in the run home.
SONOMA TYRON - broke at the start losing ground. Broke again shortly after losing all chance. The breastplate on the mare broke as the start was effected. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition.
Race 9   GOLD BAND TAXIS MOBILE PACE
FITZTHEBILL - weakened from the 600m after racing parked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Race 10   WOODLANDS STUD 'ALL STAR FIVE' MOBILE PACE
MAJOR PERFORMER - held up for clear racing room throughout the run home.
HOO HAA - hung inwards early in the run home and was unable to be shifted wider on the track despite the efforts of driver B Butt.
BLACK PEARL - a mudguard was dislodged rounding the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised he was disappointed with the effort of the mare and could offer no explanation.
HAPPY HARPER - driver S Thornley was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion and in a continuous manner in the run home.
MELODY BANNER - when questioned regarding the performance driver T Williams advised the filly had failed to handle the track conditions and he would be recommending a change of shoeing when racing on rain affected surfaces. Mr Williams added he was not disappointed with the effort and expected the filly to derive considerable benefit from the race.
POETRY IN MOTION - driver G O'Reilly was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion early in the run home.
