Driver S Ottley advised Stewards on race day morning that she was unwell and would not be attending the meeting. Miss Ottley was advised a Medical Clearance would be required prior to her resuming driving and was replaced on her engagements as per the Summary below.

Race 1   IRON HORSE BONUS BACK AGAIN THIS YEAR MOBILE PACE
RAGING NATIVE - under pressure from the 1400 metres before weakening from the 1000 metres. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities. Trainer K Adams advised the filly had over-raced through the early and middle stages and she would be making gear changes prior to racing next.
HUZUNI - over-raced in the middle stages.
LOTTIE'S LUCK - over-raced in the middle stages. Raced greenly and lay in on the bends proving difficult to steer for driver M Hurrell.
OKIWI BAY - held up early stages of the run home.
ENYA FRANCO - raced greenly and lay in on the bends proving difficult to steer for driver B Orange. Continued to lay in throughout the run home having to be straightened.
Race 2   LISA DOLLY CATERING - RACE DAY CAFETERIA TROT
TOP OF THE HILL - hampered by a breaking runner passing the 1800m and broke in consequence, losing considerable ground.
BROWN EYED GIRL - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1800m and switched to a pace, having to be restrained passing the 1750m and broken up by driver R McIlwrick to return the mare to its correct gait.
SONNY JIM - lay in final bend contacting a track marker.
DON AMECHE - fractious prior to the start then broke as the tapes were released losing ground. Broke passing the 1300m hampering a trailing runner and losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Trainer R Wilson reported that the horse may not be suited by the smaller track.
POPNROCK - broke passing the 1800m hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Broke again passing the 500m losing all chance. Driver K Tomlinson reported the horse was unsuited by the tight turning track.
OUR ROSE HILL - driver N Williamson was issued with a warning for using his whip over the concluding stages with a foot removed from the sulky footrest. In taking this course of action Stewards accepted Mr Williamson's explanation that the sulky seat had shifted back resulting in his foot slipping from the footrest.
SUPERFAST RONNIE - slow to begin. Briefly hampered by a breaking runner near the 1300m. Trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
Race 3   MCKNIGHT & BROWN MOBILE PACE
TOPOFTHECLASS - over-raced through the middle stages.
PUTERE BOY - raced greenly in the early stages.
RYLAN CHARLIE - driver K Green was warned for using her whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
Race 4   WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE PACE
THE OTHER BROTHER - connections advised the gelding has had its hocks treated since last racing. Paced roughly at stages throughout. Weakened final bend. Driver J Douglas reported the gelding had been striking the wheel discs during the running.
GET KRAKEN - lay out rounding the bends.
Race 5   REGENT CAR COURT HANDICAP TROT
TOP POCKET CHANCE - broke at the start losing ground. Broke again passing the 800m losing all chance.
MAJESDIX - driver K Tomlinson reported that she did not activate the sliding blinds due to having the field covered.
OUR SUPERFUND - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Broke again rounding the first bend losing all chance. Stood down to trial on two occasions to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
JACCKA BAYLIS - lay in rounding the final bend and raced inside a track marker. Prior to authorisation of this runner's 3rd placing Stewards viewed replays and were satisfied that no advantage had been gained.
BURNING LOVE - broke at the start losing ground.
BILL BOOTIT - lay in rounding the final bend contacting track markers.
THE RIVER BOY - trainer K Barron was issued with a warning after presenting the gelding with sliding blinds not notified.
Race 6   CRAIG HEYRICK AT HARCOURTS MOBILE PACE
RIGHTAZZ - over-raced middle stages.
DENY EVERYTHING - lay in when weakening final bend contacting a track marker.
Race 7   LEVEL ONE RESTAURANT & BAR MOBILE PACE
BETTER BE WATCHING - hampered by a breaking runner near the 150m.
EMERALD ABBEY - raced wide early.
VAN LIBERTY - raced three wide with cover from the 1300m then without cover from the 1000m. Weakened final bend.
MAGIC SIGN - broke passing the 150m hampering a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. When questioned regarding this incident driver M Hurrell advised that the gelding had overreacted when shifting ground.
