Supplementary

Cambridge Harness - Friday, 19th July 2024
Race 1 - OFF THE TRACK FOOD & BEV HANDICAP TROT
Connections advised Stewards on 02 August that TOPAZ CASTLETON has been treated for an elbow infection since last having raced.
Race 9 - HIRE A VENUE AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
Stewards concluded the adjourned enquiry at tonight's meeting. After hearing the relative evidence and viewing the replays it was established that Driver S Abernethy(GLADYS GREENLAND) had been in a position to shift out on the final turn and move outside runners wider which he did in an acceptable manner. WHOOSHKA (P Ferguson) had then galloped after becoming unbalanced when locking wheels with WICKED WANDA (B Butcher), which lay in, before falling with the resultant interference to WICKED WANDA and ALWAYS B STUNNING. After considering the matter blame could not be solely attributed to any driver or horse and no further action was warranted other than to note the circumstances.
Auckland TC - Friday, 26th July 2024
Race 6 - SOUTHERN CROSS PARTNERS WINTER REWARDS FINAL MOBILE PACE
Driver A Poutama (BLAZING LOUIE) defended a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly racing into the first bend by allowing his horse to shift inwards resulting in DOM TORETTO (M White) being checked and breaking. After hearing the relative evidence and viewing the replays the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and imposed a fine of $500.
